  1. The KFCSA Committee regret to announce that the Player of The Year dance due to be held on the 4th April will be postponed. Given the current worldwide issues the committee feel this is the right thing to do and will wait until the situation with the corona virus has cleared before arranging a new date. Anyone who has paid for tickets can contact any committee member who will arrange for refund to be given. We hope that all who have bought tickets will attend when we set new date. KFCSA would like to thank Gordon Anthony of The Park Hotel, Gavin Wallace, Dave Mcphail and Chris Kyle who have been very understanding of this situation. We hope that they will be able to attend the rearranged date whenever that may be. We are in unchartered waters and hope that all will be understanding in a situation which is outwith our control. KFCSA committee
  2. KFCSA would like to wish former manager Angelo Alessio best wishes for the future following his sudden departure from Rugby Park today. We would like to thank him for his efforts whilst at Kilmarnock KFCSA would urge all Killie fans to get to Rugby park this Saturday and show support for the team and interim manager Alex Dyer against Motherwell. Iain Sherry KFCSA chairman
  3. KFCSAs bring a gift is next Saturday collection points will be open from 2pm at rugby road and Dundonald road entrances Im sure killie fans will be as generous as they have been the last two years
  4. KFCSA are once again angered and outraged at the behaviour of away supporters at Rugby Park on Sunday. Instead of talking about the game we are all talking about off field issues. Fans are entitled to celebrate their team scoring but entering the field of play is totally unacceptable. Kilmarnock fans have voted with their feet in recent years by staying away from such games and once again people can see why. The Kilmarnock Board have done everything they can to entice fans back to these games and have been vindicated by double the normal Kilmarnock support at yesterday’s game when compared to attendances at similar games over the last few years. Their job is not made any easier by these away teams fans continued misbehaviour and an apparent total disregard to the laws of the land. It is time the football authorities stamped down on this continued behaviour which seems to happen at most grounds in the SPFL. KFCSA hopes this is a watershed moment and something is actually done by the footballing authorities. Having spoken to the club we know that they are investigating the matter fully with the following being a priority The destruction of our disabled section roof by a section of Rangers supporters was totally unacceptable and it is only through luck that nobody was seriously injured in this incident. We fully expect Rangers to pay for the damage caused. Rangers fans forced open the gate at the Chadwick Stand – this too is totally unacceptable. The possibility of duplicate tickets is one of a number of factors that we are investigating. A meeting has been set up between the club and Police and G4S and will take place later this week. We’d welcome Rangers’ involvement and with their help, anyone who took part in the vandalism of the disabled section will be banned from Rugby Park. The Board are looking at a series of measures to try and eradicate the potential for pitch incursions, including the possibility of netting in the lower rows of the Chadwick Stand. There will be no return to giving Old Firm supporters two stands and we remain committed to attracting families and all Killie supporters to cheer on their team in these matches. Iain Sherry KFCSA Chairman
  5. Firstly can I thank all those who attended last nights dinner which was as a joint event between KFCSA and the club I hope all those who attended enjoyed the night. This is was only the launch of the clubs 150thcelebrations and more fans will get the chance to attend other events throughout 2019. The event sold out almost instantly and appreciate that some fans never got the chance to attend but 5k into 360 doesn’t go so some were always going to be disappointed we asked all supporters clubs if they wanted tables and also people who had supported KFCSA Poy dance first ....and by then it was a sell out As for other venues the extra work in hiring the Grand Hall I’m afraid is too much work and as this was a joint venture with the club it was always more practical to be in the park hotel. Im sure the club will announce the next event in the near future and more fans will get the chance to celebrate the anniversary of the oldest and best professional club in Scotland
