  1. You’d like to think he’d know how to use him having coached him previously, then again with his recent team selections maybe you’re right
  2. Don't really care how he scores as long as he puts the ball in the net i'm happy, Boyd made a career out of being in the right place at the right time to score. He does a lot of the dog work up top trying to close players down. Haven't seen a Killie striker win as many balls in the air in some years and has got us some vital goals because of his flick ons. Didn't think he played amazingly against Aberdeen in the cup tie but he's played game after game without a rest and made the jump form non league to the Scottish top flight. Personally thought he was giving defenders a rough time especially against the OF, not seen Ajer and Jullien struggle to win a ball in the air like that before. Big man gives his all and hope he continues to score
  3. I see where you are coming from in terms of quality over age. More so Dicker , Power and Burke will be hard to replace as they have been consistent starters for 2+ years. Finding players to come through and replace them may prove difficult
  4. Not to start the summer transfer window off too early but judging the already thin squad that we have, this could be a massive summer for us. At a glance we may need 5-6 players just to add quality and depth. From there we may need to replace players such as SOD who may be on the way out. With the players we do have a few are getting to the end of their careers. The likes of Burke, Broadfoot, Dicker, Power, El Makrini and Jamie Mac are all past 30. Rebuilding a solid midfield and replacing a partnership like SOD and Burke could be vital as they are a massive part on how we play, not to mention the likes of Findlay are due to attract bigger clubs. This may be a huge market for us as it may set up to foundations for the coming years in terms of adding to what we have and then replacing important players with a similar level of quality. Judging how previous windows have gone, James Fowler and co could have a huge market ahead of them.
  5. Hopefully we don't show them too much respect. Sitting too deep against Celtic only allows them to be more dangerous. I hope SC tells the players to get in their faces and press them right up the pitch.
  6. That mean a sold out Rugby Park next season then?
  7. Boydies goal against Hibs to keep us up.
  8. Slater and Ashcroft to be leaving with others more later today
