  1. I don’t see any issue with this getting through planning. I’m pretty certain a previous application for the rugby club on the same site with a much bigger footprint were approved. The planning ref was: 12/0013/PP if anyone is interested.
  2. It’s been said plenty over the course of this season that McInnes’ real acid test will be what kind of team he puts together for next season. With the deadwood out the building and the back room staff and recruitment to his liking there will be no more excuses. For me, he has my full backing for next season after doing the bare minimum required during his tenure. More turgid football and tombola team selections however, will not be tolerated by the Killie faithful. it’s time for him and Doc to up their game accordingly.
  3. Cheers mate, I think Susan Russell is looking into that for me. 👍🏻
  4. Likewise, my youngest has just been given 2 tickets by his school, however their allocated bus from the club is already full. 😭 If anyone hears of 2 spare seats going it would be appreciated as I would prefer to avoid doing the train route ***Now sorted, thanks to the Trust bus and Elsie Cook! ***
  5. This site has had a previous application for a training facility. Back in 2011/12, Sainsbury’s were looking to build a store at the Rugby Club and relocate them to the site off London Road. This proposal was much grander in scale, spanning both sides of the access road and including indoor training facilities on the A77 side where some water/gas/electric station now sits. This application was approved with conditions and had a car park with a capacity of 95 with a potential overspill car park for 59 if required. From what I can see, there was only one objection from the public. The planning ref was: 12/0013/PP if anyone fancies a look.
  6. I see the Bristol City keepers kit is taking some inspiration from that classic Geddes kit. Any chances this is a standard keeper template @Lroy?
  7. This is an excellent appointment. Fraser knows the Scottish game and has worked with everyone from grassroots right through the national teams at all ages. Had the pleasure of attending several of his coaching workshops over the years and his knowledge and ability to communicate is superb. Nice to see him follow his brother into a dedicated coaching role at a club. Good Killie fan as well ??
  8. He is lacking match sharpness and said so himself. He got into plenty of decent positions only to make really poor shot choices. Given how little meaningful tennis he’s played over the last few years that’s unsurprising and thats where you saw him getting frustrated on court. Grinding out wins like tonight will only help him regain that side of his game as the last set showed. The question is will his body hold up to the punishment of five set matches as he gets back up to speed or will he falter before he even gets to second week.
  9. £5000 target has been smashed! Superb effort from everyone.
  10. The trust are paying the other £5000 from general funds.
  11. My lads football team have used Hummel for their last few strips and the quality of the material and fit is really good. The only thing that caught us out was the Hummel chevrons which were applied on top of the fabric and stuck together if the material got too hot. We found out the hard way when the top was left out in the sun at a football festival and we had to peel the shirt apart.
  12. Would have liked to have seen more of Harry Bunn as he looked decent when he did play.
  13. Have you updated your browser and cleared your internet history? Worked for me
  14. Was down just after 6 to purchase two tickets, got Row Z in the east so happy with that. There was a guy down there asking about getting his and his kids ST seats and they had already been sold.......
  15. Jamie MacDonald!!!! Yasss
  16. Muppets that run the lights well after they have gone red. So late in fact they are come through a junction as you are entering on the green light!!! I find the lights at the Tesco Garage at Glencairn & the Portland Road/North & South Hamilton Street junction especially bad for this behaviour.....or is it just the sequencing that's out?
  17. Not the greatest deal we have had available but still saving a few quid. PM Me your name and email address if interested.
  18. Muirmill doesn't look big enough for the size of development that is being talked about. There's plenty of land between the main road through Dundonald and the Olympic business park that could be developed, similarly, there is an old industrial site in Drybridge across from the chemical place that looks ideal in size, is available and probably wouldn't have any issues getting planning permission given its former use.
