Is it right that he now has one more than Peerie Cunningham who, according to Killie Who's Who, scored 108?

That will put him in tenth spot, just 2 behind Gerry Mays, 4 from Andy Kerr and 6 away from Mattha Smith.

Grandfather (wasnt it?) OF Casper or Gordon Smith.

Someone should post the all time list - I confess to being not too familiar with Gerry Mays - we should learn more about him and show the respect he's obviously due!

(EDIT: Quick look on Wikipedia says Mays was 18 in 1939 - basically had half a football career. Played at 36 in '57 Cup final, you could see Boydie coaching on and doing same)

Without WW2 Gerry Mays could be the best Killie player ever?

Mays is certainly the most unlucky player ( in terms of their career) on the all time scorers list.

Boyd scored more goals the season he left in January with us and the old Rangers than these two also I'm sure..

34: Harry Cunningham 1927/28 & Andy Kerr 1960/61

So he's probably our best ever finisher in a season.

Everygame has Harry Cunningham on 110 total. Boyd sits in 11th on 109.

Wonder what was up with him when he went off.

Not a glance at the support never mind applause. Looked very unhappy with something.

At full time he headed straight up tunnel, no wave to the crowd or applause. Thought his goal celebration was a GIRUY towards the fans. Could be wrong though but seems something is up.

Could be cause the majority of fans have a problem with him and do nothing but moan about him while he calmly just makes his way to the club's top scorer? Hasn't been shown the respect he deserves for last year or two.

Even if folk don't think he should be picked, it's not him that picks the lineup.
