Dillinger
The legend scores again. 116 and counting. Hopefully we'll start to give his on-field heroics a bit more attention than whatever drivel he comes out with on a radio show. piffer
If he keeps this form up we might get a few quid off Sevco for him in January
Estragon
Big man's now overtaken his season total from last year, and it's great to see him and young Brophy linking up to great effect.
Pompey Repatriated
Good to have a front two partnership. Wight and Vareille maybe the last one. We're only just going back to 2 up in football after many years of a variation of 4-5-1
Estragon
To be fair it's the first time in a long timethat we've had a midfield strong enough to give up an extra body.

There’s probably a bit of healthy competition between them and Erwin as well. I think this season is the first it’s been really obvious the strikers signed were to replace Boyd. He has risen to the challenge with better overall performances and more goals. Brophy has responded as well since he got his chance. Only Erwin has been a let down.

Harrogate Peter
If, as it appears, he has lost a little weight too all credit to the guy! He never was quick but a bit more mobility (and balance) arising from better fitness seems to be making a difference. I know better support from Brophy and midfield helps too but I thought he was done and have a sneaking feeling he did too.
Neilly
Kris Boyd is a killie legend think of the goals he has scored to keep us in this league over years yes he maybe a wee bit on the heavy side but he is looking much shaper and with young Brophy in the team it’s paying off we all need to cut him some slack
KillkieBoab
Sutton and Shearer became known as the SAS of Blackburn Rovers. Killie had our alternative, Naismith and Nish, NAN, but now we can have our very own ... B&B.

livvy
He has one of the best goals per minute ratios in the league at 174 minutes per goal. He will hit double figures no bother at this rate. I don't think he was capable of playing up front on his own anymore. The league goals have come since we have strengthened the midfield with Power and got someone up top to support him. The lowest I could find for multiple goalscorers was Brophy with a goal for every 111 minutes played.
DG5
What ever else people think about Boydie. No one can doubt he is one of our best ever goalscorers. And a someone posted somewhere. 4 or 5 other teams in our league wish they had him in there team.
Estragon
Agreed. I can't help but feel the Boyd-sceptics in our midst will rethink their criticism of him during the decades we'll spend waiting for another forward as good who'll play here for any amount of time.
skygod
I hope we don't have to wait that long but you're probably right. When comparing his record with the club's other top scorers, it's easy to forget that they were more or less one-club men, Kerr aside. Boyd has a small matter of 130-odd goals for other clubs.
Neilly
Boyd is different class in the box we should be happy he has spent most of his career with killie we will miss him when his time is up
Killie alan
Got to get another contract even another season if he keeps scoring. He is doing the business on the park .

historyman
Boyd practically played the full 90 mins in both games this week so hopefully he will still have something left for Saturday. Same goes for Mulumbu as it will have been a tough start for him. Dicker looks like he was never away in the first place, it's great to see him back.
