killiehippo
Just spoke to someone close to Greg who reckons if all goes well he may be back in March.......still a huge blow.
Charlie's Dad
Another disastrous piece of news. Can things really get much worse ? Lack of pace and skill in the team and our best player is out for most of the season. Hope he heals well........quickly.

daviefaekillie
For once I wish those cretins were lying! Every cloud has a silver lining and all that. Think of the panic in the Johnston household as well when he realises that he now has no one to sell in the window to cover the losses that Bowie ain't forking out for any longer! I'd still rather he was fit and playing of course, Coulibaly's a certainty to go now.

piffer
Can't help but think he's been rushed back. Straight back into the starting lineup for a game which would be tough and physical without any minutes in the development squad. Would be interested to know if leaving him out on Saturday and prepping him for St Johnstone would've been better for all parties.
fraz65
He seems to have been rushed back not once but twice, although whether this has had any influence on the outcome of his injury is hard to say. It's a huge blow nonetheless. What a dreadful start to the season. Edited October 4, 2016 by fraz65
skygod
With hindsight, it seems to be the Rangers match when he was brought back too soon. Aggravated the injury and Saturday was too soon for him again. It's tricky with hamstrings where you don't know if it's properly healed until the athlete goes flat-out. Look at the trouble Michael Owen had with his.
historyman
Terrible news for him and for the team. He was the one person who had some pace, creativity and intelligence both on and off the ball. Was clear on Saturday that he was not fully fit and it's hard not to conclude that the situation has been badly managed although it may have reached this point anyway. Another crushing blow, hard to see things getting any worse.

Scouser2
Huge blow to to the team ...and sad news for the player...hope he has a quick recovery ..so far has been the one quality player who can link up our play as well as well as added that higher level of skill in opening up defences...... Now needs other players to step up and prove themselves
Wrangodog
A huge blow to the team and Kiltie himself.

diamond_geezer
It's a pity no doubt. But if we are totally reliant on one player, then we are totally goosed. He's better than some of the muck we we have, true but he'd be lucky to get a game in a decent side.
killietilidie
One of the few bright sparks around Rugby Park has been the development of young Kiltie into a fine player. A huge blow for us but for his future and longevity I wish him a speedy and full recovery but not too quickly this time. Come back when your 100% and ready Greg.

He would walk into any SPFL side other than Celtic and at 19 he has the potential to go on and have a career at a high level.
