All we do is complain.  Well done Killie for securing our status for another year

We have every reason to complain. We've watched our club come close to administration. We've watched an Ayr lawyer alienate large sections of the business community as well as the support. We've watched as the new board members who we thought were true fans, and would do something about the Ayr lawyer, have done absolutely nothing. We have no Chairman, we have no direction and the only reason we're surviving is luck. Lee Clark brought in a lot of duffers but got lucky with Coulibaly. Selling him and some big home gates has kept us going. We pay our money, we support our team but we also have the right to complain.

Have we really came close to admin though? Every. f**king. Year. We hear stories of how we are "oh so close to administration", "on the brink" etc etc yet it's never, ever happened.

And no, we aren't surviving because of luck. We survived this year because we were actually pretty decent and have a pretty good team overall. Those duffers that LC brought in are on course to achieve our highest finish in years.

Finally, your comment about no direction is again, over exaggerated. We do not have a chairman, that is not great but we have a fecking good amount of exciting young players in our team and plenty of reasons to be optimistic so how about just not moaning for once eh?

The duffers Clark brought in are long gone.

How much of a contribution did Davies, Webb, Cobain, Addison, Osbourne, Waddington, Smith, Bojaj, McFadzean, Umerah, Adams, Boyle, Burn, Kayode and Green make?

Let's all just be happy that this year it is not us yes we got lucky but on the whole we are not a bad team the improvement since LC left is obvious and the team look like they are all pulling in the same direction now and are playing for each other so let's be thankful ,relax and watch somebody else suffer what we went through last season !

Not much but Jones, Coulibaly, Woodman, Longstaff, Ajer, Hendrie etc have all made a fairly decent impact.

Agreed but his success/failure ratio wasn't what a club like ours needs.

We must have used just shy of 40 players which is ridiculous.

McCulloch mentioned something like 36players being used in the league alone. The intial signing policy was unbelievable. Coulibaly, Jones, Boyd and Hendrie the only real successes. Green could have been a player but there were other issues. Burn looked decent at times but was never fully fit. In January we operated a lot better in the transfer market. Signed quality who brought something to the team. Only Roberts and Osborne disappointing in their contributions.

In all competitions I can think of. Sure I'm missing some. Either way it's a hell of a lot of players.

MacDonald, Davies, Woodman

Burn, Boyle, Addison, S. Boyd, Ajer, Osborne

Webb, Cobain, Hendrie, Taylor, S.Smith

Waddington, M. Smith, Green, Dicker, McFadzean, Wilson, Frizzell, Hawkshaw, McKenzie, Jones, Kiltie, Longstaff, Roberts, Graham

Cameron, Coulibaly, K. Boyd, Tyson, Magennis, Sammon, Umerah, Morrison. Bojaj

The first thing the new manager needs to do, whoever he may be, is get on the phone to Brendan Rodgers and beg to get Ajer on loan for another season.
His signing has been the main reason why we managed to pull clear of the bottom few places since January.
it would be great to see him continue to develop at RP for another year.

Why can we not prioritise quality over quantity? I get that we are operating in free transfers and loanees like our competition, but this annual pick n mix approach to recruitment is ludicrous.

A great example would be the centre back situation from August to now. Ajer is 10x the combined talents of Burn, Boyle, Osbourne and Addison. Selective and quality recruitment will be much more successful for us than the lucky dip approach of recent seasons. Likewise Hendrie at right back versus the countless others signed in hope rather than ability.

ajer Hendrie jones coulibalie signed by LC 4 of 5 best players at the club this year and main reason we are all relaxed tonight. Agree some of the others were waste of time money but compare them to the dross under Locke and AJ.

players win games not managers and without these 4 we would be in trouble. LC deserves credit for these players will b interesting to c if new manager can match this quality.

So, six months on from Bowie and Kiltie having crunch talks with MJ, QTS threatening to end their sponsorship, and supporters talking of a season ticket boycott and a petition to remove MJ, nothing has changed at all.

It must have been a hell of a showdown between BB, JK and MJ - the only crunch must have been from the biscuits they had with their tea.

QTS have renewed their sponsorship and want to build a hospitality box, the petition was duly collected, delivered and ignored and the season-ticket boycott fizzled out.

Meantime, the manager baled out for the bright lights of, er ... Bury and the team goes into the last week of the regular season without a manager and still not sure of survival.

I'm not even sure that the subject of the year-long chairmanship vacancy was discussed at the AGM!

The scheme to raise funds to buy a seat on the board has got off to a less than impressive start.

What a glorious f**k-up of a football club!

Yep, let's ignore today's result and have a moan.

You think we have direction? Were you are the AGM? Seriously? I'm all for giving praise where it is due, but not where its not. I'm delighted that the interim manager and players have secured top flight football again, congratulations to them, though its a bit sad that all we have to celebrate these days is not getting relegated. As for coming close to admin, we definitely have at least twice and if you look at the books, the financials that are released by the club and are not figments of imagination, then maybe you wouldn't be posting this stuff that we seem to suffer every time Killie get a decent result. Boyd scores, suddenly he's a hero again and f**k all the doubters, told you so etc. Killie get a result we need, suddenly we've a raft of talented youth players and have oodles of cash in the bank. Fans do moan about stuff all the time, but its the same stuff we are moaning about because bugger all has changed and we are not all 12 year olds who change their mind every two minutes about what is wrong at the club. As long as the problem remains and halts any real chance of progress then we have every right to keep harping on about it until its fixed. I had a look at this thread and every single one of the fans talking about moaning and negativity and how bad our own fans are - are not trust members. Coincidence or just board lackies on trying to stir things up a bit? Ironically the trust members on this thread are the very fans who are trying to put £100k into the club.

I think comparing ourselves to the late ninties, early to mid 2000s teams is a bit misleading when we were realitve big boys. It wasnt like for like. We were spending outwith our means back then. Also our income would have been more,eg bigger crowds. I think budget considering we hit the targets this year. Like it or lump it we are a bottom six team. It will take us a good few years of consistency to do a St Johnstone but that us overachieving. That has to be the aim. I get that people have issues with the board but looking at our season it should be classed as a success. Scottish football is a different landscape now with the big teams eg Aberdeen putting together squads that we can't match.

After all of the hard work by the players and management over the course of the season, it's a bit unfair to put our survival down to luck.
