IMO
some that always raised their game against us in lower divisions that I would have liked us to sign - Ken Eadie, Derek Mcinnes in his morton days, Owen Coyle in his Airdrie days and one final bogeyman was Darren Henderson at Stranraer
caltonkid
I remember talking to Billy Stark and Tommy Burns and they asked me who i would like to see playing for Killie - i immediately said Craig Brewster (he was still playing with Forfar at the time) they told me that they had tried on a couple of occasions to sign him but he wasn't interested ....

Henderson was indeed a bogeyman but nowhere near good enough to play for killie Edited December 11, 2016 by Ycfc1922

Scored against the tinks too.

Do love that strip!
WWWWnnnnnn!
Kenny ward at Forfar, good winger, before that Willie Brown, no great player but big strong farmer type that run us ragged, with our team at that time that's what we needed. A guy Logan at Meadowbank always caused us problems. George McLuskey, we got there eventually but Hamilton got too much of him. Gerry McCabe was always all over us no matter what pishy club he was at.

Nigel4
Russell Latapy (I know he was with Rangers, but he was far better in a smaller team), Stevie Crawford and for a modern one Brian Graham

Bhamkillieken
i wanted Sandy Clark as a player. Should have done what we could when we had Keith lasley the summer before he went to Motherwell - good steady player.

aldo
some of these already mentioned owen coyle at Clydebank, built like a pipe cleaner but really good alan ferguson at Hamilton, young goalie who always had a great game against us craig Brewster at Forfar, Forfar were actually better than us because of him brian reid at Morton, looked a good centre half, surprised his career didn't take off john sludden at ayr, oh, we got him..........
red_dug
Peter Heatherston was a fair player......would like to have signed him. Althouh they could easily fall into the donkey category by some i always used to hate when steven tweed or brian martin lined up against us.

Gaz of the 20/20
Martin Cameron, especially after he papped us out the cup at Alloa but he never really amounted to too much. Rob Jones at Hibs, cracking defender and always felt we missed a centre half like him. Also Glynn Hurst, Paul McGrillen, Rod McDonald Edited December 16, 2016 by Gaz of the 20/20

Aghh John Sudden.... I remember it well, I was working in Ayr at the time, the great unwashed were flinging themselves off Tams Brig, at the thought "he used to be a darkie but he's alright now", when he signed for us. Lol.
