historyman
Fantastic result and a great chance to keep it going next week as we are playing a team who must be at absolute rock bottom in terms of confidence. Things looking brighter by the week at the moment.

Gaffer
Made up for Jig and the players fantastic after the kick in the teeth last week. Be magic if we could come out on top next week and get a bit of a gap between us and the bottom 4
red_dug
Brilliant result. We'd be cruising if we'd held out for wins last week and at dens. Todays highlights on alba tonight at 10.
MJout
Gary dicker was outstanding today. My MoM by a country mile. Apart from a ropey 15min in second half a great team performance. Fought for everything. A happy team perhaps after some normal training times this week?
Bobby Street Roll
It's really important we build on this with a home win next week against Motherwell. There's a real chance of getting a gap on the bottom two before the split.
piffer
Thought we were excellent. Started brilliantly and Saints could have had no complaints if we'd scored three or four. Longstaff and McKenzies pressing game was superb and led to the opening goal. Saints weren't in it in the first half hour. They got more involved towards the end but never put us under pressure. Second half Saints were more into it. Felt we played more on the back foot. We defended well and didn't give them clear cut chances. Got the second at a really important time with a little help from their keeper. From that point the game fizzled out. There were a few iffy moments with another new back four but they grew as a unit. The midfield three of Dicker, McKenzie and Longstaff were superb. Didn't stop running for 90minutes and really dominated their opponents. The two wide players did well. Up to support Boyd but helping their fullbacks as well. Boyd put in a great shift. Often against three CBs he did the running we don't associate with his game and good hold up and link play. I felt McCulloch got things spot on. Only criticism was maybe he could have put Tyson or Umerah on for Boyd who was done in after about 75mins.

piffer
Also thought the support was superb today. Plenty of positivity a fair bit of anti MJ as well.
DuncanEwart
I thought there was a wee bit of pressure building up on us before this game after Caley's win last night. A defeat in Perth would have led to a whole lot of mumping and moaning. It sounds like a pretty good performance as well as a great result, so that should give us something to build on. We did ourselves a bit of good today and I'm looking forward to next Saturday already.

gdevoy
Great result, just disappointed I couldn't be there. Glad Connor got a goal. Confidence is key for him.
Scouser2
Superb win. 2nd goal came at just the right time and a vital 3 points McCulloch has perhaps made slight changes without anything too dramatic as yet from what LC was doing ...the loan signings in January have on the whole improved the quality in the team

Loudoun Killie
Only seen 20mins of the highlights and we should be 3 up already! Jones is the MoM at this point.......based on what I am seeing on the telly anyway. Longstaff should have had a goal from his two chances. Team looks superb, but St Johnstone not great.... 151rugby
Brilliant result respect to the fans who made the journey, hopefully we can extend the gap next week against a Motherwell side who appear to be lost. Nice to see McKenzie and Sammon on the score sheet.
carpetfitter
6 hours ago, killiehippo said: Great three points and well deserved. Could have been two up at half time then when they finally had a wee bit of pressure we went and scored a second. Good performances throughout the team bit I would give MOTM to Greg Taylor who was excellent. Agree. Greg gets better by the week.
diamond_geezer
Killie wins have become like hens teeth the last few years . Two more wins and I'll relax.
thesnowman21
Agree with those saying next week become vital, lets us open up a gap and even if we don't make top 6, we should still be safe by the split. Always a bit worried about playing a team that's just been humped, even last season Gary Locke's killie responded after being humped, but would be extremely satisfying to be the team that costs McGee his job.
fraz65
Rory's goal was with his left foot- an excellent finish. Saints keeper at fault for both goals.
