He's probably too busy watching the best bits of his career video when he came on a as sub for East Stirling away to Albion.
Gaz of the 20/20
That's a cracking achievement and one that will likely go unnoticed.

It would be good if David Wren at the Standard did a story on it as it would likely end up in the Record. In fact, I'm off to Tweet him.
historyman
That is a great stat. The Scottish press should be all over it as a positive news story but of course it doesn't chime with their ill-informed stereotypical view of Killie. Incredible that we are the only team in Britain in the top 100. Very impressive for Ajax as well, reaching the Europa final with a young squad.

Squirrelhumper
Scott at STVSport got back to me. He's off Sports News just now but has passed it onto a colleague who is at RP today so should hopefully get some press coverage about it.

Sp3ckyh0td0g81
Well Done Higgy mate firstly for making sure we all acknowledge the achievement on here but also getting the media to take notice outstanding and hats of to you when we spend a lot of time debating the negatives and people working tirelessly to get trust membership and TIK sign ups increased things like this only help support the work done by everyone involved and encourage more positive action whenever we can this proves what can be done tremendous Edited May 5, 2017 by Sp3ckyh0td0g81
C4mmy31
Hopefully some of the big clubs of British football take note of what we are doing and opt to send us their better players on loan as they will get playing time/experience..... surely this would benefit both parties?

Dan1el
The futures bright the futures Killie! Just goes to show how important a job the youth coaches do at the club, you could argue in today's modern football they are more important than the manager, they can shape the style/play of the 1st team without probably knowing they are. Round of applause for all the work they put in, out of interest who pulls the strings/coaches the youths?

chubbs
We would've been in this position a while ago if we hadn't wasted 3 years with AJ and GL in charge.
Dan1el
Had a look on the website and as most of you probably know Academy Director is Paul Mcdonald, what a job he and his coaches are doing, 5 players from the academy have made their debuts this year. Must be a good selling point in attracting promising youngsters when they can see a clear path to top flight professional football, the next stage is to have them as regulars then flog to a mid table English Prem team for 30mil Onwards and upwards

piffer
Great to see. Unfortunate on our part that a percentage are loan players and we may not see the best of them. It's been a bright spot of the season though to see the lads from our own academy force so many of the new signings completely out of the picture with their performances. With Clark's signing policy it was hard to imagine we'd see Taylor play so often(where does he stand in appearances for the club this season? Can only think of Dicker playing more), Wilson play a key role, Hawkshaw and Frizzell feature and getting a teaser of the next group to come through with Morrison, Graham and Cameron all featuring as well. Hopefully we can tie up our league status this weekend and we are in a position to give the youngsters on the fringes a bit of game time in the final matches. Maybe bring that average age down a bit.
