skygod
He must be gutted. What happened - a tackle or can it be blamed on the vile pitch? The sooner we get a physio appointed the better as MacQueen is leaving immediately. Edited May 20, 2017 by skygod
Merk
Looked to me like his studs caught on the surface. Edited May 20, 2017 by Merk

piffer
Looked nasty. Intitially thought the County player had clipped him but not sure.
Wrangodog
A broken ankle is bad but I feared it was a cruciate injury. Hope things go well with his recovery.
PrestersKtid
Jesus, boy can't catch a break. Hopefully shortish time on sidelines then might be back for next season opener.

Depends on whether there is ligament or tendon damage, which would prolong the recovery.

historyman
A real shame for him. He will miss the Touloun tournament as well. I hope he is able to come back from this and get his career back on track. It has been a very frustrating year for him so far.

MrTumnus
Thought the County player landed on him, totally accidental if so. However he did go down earlier in the game clutching his ankle. Edited May 20, 2017 by MrTumnus
Trojan76
wouldn't expect it to be a break if it was because he got his studs caught in turf, that is much more likely to be ligament/tendon injury than bone break
Pompey Repatriated
The worry with these sorts of injuries is will he be the same after?

fraz65
It would give him a boost if the club were to use some of the expected £2 million post-MJ investment to secure him on a long-term deal.

The 18-year-old's current deal at the Scottish Premiership club was due to run out at the end of January. Kilmarnock manager Gary Locke had stressed that Kiltie was being given time to make an important decision in his career. "I am happy that the gaffer made it clear that he wanted to keep me at the club," said Kiltie. "He has given me my chance and has shown he believes in me by playing me in important games this season. "I hope to repay him by doing well for the club." Locke was delighted that Kiltie, who made his debut in May 2013, would be adding to his 22 appearances for Kilmarnock this season. "It has been a long process, but it is great that one of the best young talents in the game has committed his future to Killie," he said. It would be worth securing him on a long term contract (3 or 4 years) to give him a bit of security while injured. If he comes back as anything like the player he was, he can sign a precontract in January as things stand.
