Annan Match Thread

I actually like Derek Ferguson, he might not be the brightest, but he loves his Scottish football and his enthusiasm for the games comes over on the radio.

His grammar is appalling, but you get the impression he left school at 14 and is working on it.

I usually hate that, (commentators using poor English) but I do like the enthusiasm, passion and obvious technical knowledge he gives of the game.

A good summariser.

Not that much of a surprise. Partick finished top half of the premier league last season. St mirren survived relegation from the championship by the skin of their teeth.

Aye mind the run they went on to secure safety when they looked certainties for relegation

Saints finished the season strongly and have recruited pretty well.

The margin of the lead is what is surprising.

Let's not divert a Killie thread over an throwaway remark, though.

Aye they did go on a good wee run. Add in the fact that Ayr paid the price for it xD

I think I'm sitting next to informant for another club. He's got a big list of questions about Annan and how they play.

This.

The Sportsound team are a mixed bag but I trust Ferguson's opinion.

It's Alan "Brrrrrulliant" Preston who makes me cringe.

Graham Spiers brought his kids to one of our midweek games at the end of last season. One of them was wearing a Killie top. I had a chat with him in the ATC car park.

2-0 Killie

Boyd gets his 2nd of the match ... ball was played into the box by Thomas, Boyd took a touch and slotted the ball into the bottom corner
