skygod
Overage players are, of course, allowed in the Development League but Past and present Killie managers seem to have been unwilling to use them even if players are returning from injury, lacking match practice or are out of form. Most managers have no faith in the development league and want rid off .As the results against lower league teams prove most will never see the 1st team and be very lucky to play for any senior team .Any over age player will only be used in the development league for a run out and won't risk being injured if he is in contention for a 1st team place.Waste of time and we have had many youngster who looked the part in the devlelopment game but are now in the juniors.

Why not revert to a Reserve League with a requirement to field a minimum number of U20s, say 4 or 5?
Killie alan
Scrap it the development league and bring back the reserves. We used to play guys coming back from injury and three or four senior players who helped the younger guys. Remember wining the second 11 cup well.

The reserves are coming back, either next season or the following one as part of project Brave.
