Next game - Hamilton

We've had a bad start and expect to pick up at least a point next week against Hamilton. Problem is though, they're playing well, winning games and scoring goals. This is a huge game for us and it is in no way an easy game. I'm fearing the worst, unless we get some creativity, and supply opportunities for whoever is playing up front. Lee has his work cut out for him at training this week, that's for sure!

We have negativity down to a fine art.

Trying very hard not to be negative but looking at current form and confidence, this game will not be the shoe - in certainty that a lot of us hoped it would be. I'd love for us to 'click' next week and pump them but I'm yet to be convinced that we are capable...yet!

Certainly not the start we wanted. We have a far better squad than hamilton. Hopefully this is the game where it will click.

Regardless of how they/we are playing this is a very winnable game. After a faltering start the season starts here & the fans who turn up must get behind the team regardless of who's in it. There are other sides down there also struggling,it's not just us. 3 points would give everyone connected with the club a massive lift before a few weeks away from Rugby park which I think will give the players more chance to settle down with less pressure on them.

Very big game next week. We can't afford to go 9 points behind them even at this early stage in the season and 4 home defeats on the trot would be disastrous for the team's confidence.

For once we really need to start the game well, the first goal will be important. If they get it then the players will be even more nervous and the fan's will undoubtedly get on their backs.

If we can't believe we should be able to win this kind of home game , and Management and players are not capable of doing so ....then it is going to be a long dismal season .....

Just hope McCulloch will learn from mistakes made so far this season and select the right team and method of playing .......

Wilson has to continue instead of Broadfoot , think it's either Frizzell or McKenzie not both , Erwin has to start ahead of Boyd , would play either Thomas or Brophy in behind the one striker .....

Agreed on all points!

Am expecting a win next week, despite their current form, though reckon it will be tight. They are usually a horrible team to play against, but we should have the players capable this time, of breaking them down. As said, hopefully retain the same back 4 from today, possibly bring Brophy in or have Thomas as the attacking midfielder. 4 points from the next 2 games would rebuild some of the last 3 weeks.

Interestingly the St.Johnstone result can now be put into perspective, as they are flying, and are clearly a well established top 6 side. While a defeat at home against them is certainly still disappointing, it isn't a 'disaster', in terms of the position of the 2 clubs/teams at the moment. The Hearts game we should certainly have been looking to have taken at least a point however, as despite them getting a decent result at Ibrox they are still pretty poor. Today was obviously as expected, result wise.

Had we beaten Ayr, (and then probably have got a more favourable League Cup draw), and at least drawn with, if not beaten, Hearts, things would feel very different. Shows how a couple of results can make a big difference. Could also of course do, with a good overall performance, to add to 3 points next week, to get the confidence back up a bit.

Also crucial because of the International break which follows-don't want to be stewing for 2 weeks after 4 defeats. Hopefully the break does give Dicker in particular a chance to get back to fitness as well though.

That's a lot of ifs and buts. The reality is many of the new signings are struggling, performances have been poor, we have not identified an effective set up and style of play and we have lost our first three leagues games all of which were at home.

There will be huge pressure on us next week to win, I hope the players can cope with it.
