Squirrelhumper
Rumour that they are not going to make the 5th in terms of new stand being ready and they are going to ask us for postpone rather than play at Murrayfield. I'd tell them to GTF. A lot of work still to do....
red_dug
I'd quite happily play them at murrayfield. Different venue to visit and no hostile atmosphere. It'd be a bit like being an away team at rugby park tbh.
Scouser2
IF true and after us agreeing to switch this game already and move original games around ---- then they should be told the game needs to be played that weekend -- be that at Murrayfield -or other ground suitable
red_dug
Wouldn't agree to a postponement although we might be looking for favours next season if we lay a grass pitch

gdevoy
Sitting next to a Jambo at work, she recons Tynecastle will not be available as a venue till after Christmas.
red_dug
Like most building work.......the interior fit out and snagging will drag on for ages. I'd imagine it's pretty lavish inside and as a spark.....i know that costs a load of time. Lack of seats is the tip of the iceberg.
plunkit
Murrayfield will be unavailable for most of November as it's Autumn Test time. Could be a problem for Hearts. No Scotland game that weekend so it could, depending on what the SRU are doing to prepare the stadium for the Test games, be an option.
Wrangodog
Didn't think they would meet the deadline. If it was postponed until after the window opens it might not be a bad thing, otherwise, no.
Killie Conman
Postpone it I'm due to be on holiday
piffer
Why not play it at Easter Road. As stated above I’d be accommodating to them just in case we need a favour if/when we return to grass.
carpetfitter
Play it at Berwick Rangers!! We once had to play Berwick at Tynecastle. Even things out really.
iankerr18
I live in Spain and have booked flights to come over and go to the game with my son. Will be raging if this gets postponed. If they can’t fulfil their fixture just give the points to Killie

carpetfitter
Was it not 3-2. Down 3-0 at h/t.
Craigie11
As we've got quite a horrible run of fixtures coming up it would probably work in our favour to have it postponed to a later date!

Don't agree with all the "terrible run of fixtures" talk. We have to play all the teams in the league three or four times. We can't control the scheduling so we should just get on with it. Take each game as it comes, as the cliche goes, and don't look beyond the next match.
capitalkillie
Hearts should be fined heavily if this gets moved. They've disrupted the fixture list already, made thousands out of murrayfields additional capacity and still not got their house in order (literally). But because it's budge, SPFL will do SFA.

ROI played Moldova on Friday 6th October at the Aviva, Leinster played Munster at the Aviva the next day. Two different sports and pitch markings within 24 hours.

trenwick
Why can they play a pre season friendly against newcastle @ tynecastle but not a league fixture.

DrewWylie
Murrayfield ok if they can inject 14k of total Raj at £26 a pop ----- maybe around 1000 killie not worth it
