How does the transfer value of an EPL full-back relate to the funds available to the SFA? It generated a turnover of just £38.4m last year.

The SFA, if they do it right, could grow the game or continue the stagnation, with hosting Euro 2020 in mind. Compared to the cost of similar capacity new build English grounds, you're looking at a billion quid for the new White Hart Lane, £50m plus another £5m looks decent value for Hampden to be redeveloped. They already spent a few quid on North stand in 2014, TV studios etc. Edited September 12, 2018 by RAG
