Bullitt
Currently sitting in Park Hotel... got me thinking how much quality he added when here. For me a bigger mistake letting him go than Mark O'Hara.
Zorro
I’d have kept both.
stewarty66
Liked the big man. Just very injury prone.
Scouser2
at the time thought it was both a bad idea in terms of his ability but also as a quality leader in the squad and dressing room----he had been player of the season then picked up a bad injury which took time for him to recover -- and when you look at the shed load of signings LC then made none were anywhere as good as him and many hardly featured before leaving
Mclean07
Any good reason he's in the Park Hotel?

jasper
Agree with Zorro. We have been willing to keep injured players on the books who were less valuable than Connolly. And I still can't get over letting O'Hara go. He must really have got up someone's nose. Theonlyone
Just heard 5 minutes ago (inside info, can't name names) that he is a free agent and Killie are going to have a look at him in training. Would be a much needed addition in that shaky defence. -
Mojike and Bod
Backwards step IMO. I would have thought Clarke would be able to use his contacts and bring in better quality at least on loan in Jan.
Bullitt
He was in with his daughter and a whole clan of folk. To me it looked like he was just visiting family. If he was released and we were looking at him then he would have been training with the squad this morning which he clearly wasn't. piffer
He’s a regular at Crawley every week. Hard to believe they would release him. Think His Mrs is from Edinburgh so probably up visiting. I’m sure he was very friendly with a few of the ground staff or guys who work in the gym. Dont think it’s likely he will return

He played for Crawley Town on Saturday and there's nothing on their website about him being released. On the contrary, he signed a three-year contract in August. I always thought he was a bit of a cult hero because of his often unorthodox last-ditch defending (like trying to head a ball on the ground) rather than good defending, but I defer to those who saw more of him than me. Even if he is available, I'd be very surprised if he is Steve Clarke's type of defender.
Killieboykfc
Was very very good in the AJ season where we started well. Not so good afterwards

chubbs
Had a brilliant first season but got injured and came back too quick because we were struggling and just made things worse for himself. Would liked him to have stayed but his second season was really a wasted wage for us and we couldn't afford him having another bad season fitness wise.
Tonzer
Backwards step - Pasca made him the player he was first season. Nice guy but not good or consistent enough for our needs just now. Given that he recently signed an extension it would take quite a turn of events for him to be a free agent.
