Absolutely!  Loving the "Bring it on!" chat.  Marvellous.

What a difference Clarke has made.  That's us now on 18 league games.  9 before Clarke came, and 9 since:

Pre Clarke: W1 D3 L5 GF7 GA13 Pts 6      Since Clarke: W3 D4 L2 GF 14 GA13 Pts 13

We are twice the team we were since he's been here.  If we shore up the defence, this could be the least stressful, most enjoyable season in fskn years!

Was it Brian McLaughlin on the radio? He’s done the report on the website. Anytime he’s on Open all mics he’s hit and miss whether he’s accurate with his reporting. On more than one occasion Richard Gordon has corrected him or mentioned something he has completely missed.

Its no surprise guys like Rodgers and now Clarke don’t spare these guys. We have some very good journos up here but also some absolute roasters who shouldn’t get airtime.

He wasn't in the dugout for our first win, but he was our manager and no doubt the boys got a lift.  Paul MacDonald does deserve the majority of credit, but for the purposes of before and after stats, I'd say it was 3 points before and 16 after.

100%  I didn't credit Steve with the game at Firhill, but I strongly suspect had he not been there, we wouldn't have had the result we did.

Is it too early to be getting a fund set up for a statue?! :hurrah:

Yeah it was him -  BM - and you'd see his report which was on site before he spoke to SC, KB and even Owen Coyle !

Clarke said: "You are never dead and buried and I thought the first half was a sort of nothing game.

"We lost Gordon Greer then immediately lost a goal from a set play which we didn't defend very well.

"Then we gave away a soft free-kick and gave away a second goal from a set play and we normally defend them well.

"We lost concentration when we lost the two big defenders.

"But it would have been easy for the players to say then that we have travelled more than four hours, a long journey, lost two players, two goals and it would've been easy to say 'Regroup and go again on Saturday'.

"We had a wee word with them at half-time.

"I would like to see that effort and endeavour from the first minute and if we did we might be going back down the road with three points instead of one.

"We have to credit the players for the second half performance."

Boyd avoided a second booking for apparent simulation minutes before equalising.

Clarke hailed the veteran poacher's predatory instinct.

"We chased the game very well and kept the pressure on and managed to get a quality cross into the box and when you have Kris Boyd in the box then you always have a chance of a goal," he said. "This keeps the run going and from the last three games, two away and one home and we have picked up seven points.

"So if we continue that then we will be alright."
