I have no reason not to believe the above conversation and don’t know KennyH80 but find a player freely dishing out info to strangers odd (again, not saying it didn’t happen). Absolutely everything and anything has a spin to it these days and when things come out in the wash nobody is left “technically” lying. SC said we had one approach for a player and it “Wasnt for who you think”. I know what I think he means but who knows? Maybe the Kremlin hacked SH’s account and KennyH80 is a mole? Maybe JJ isn’t going to Ibrox? Im meerly passing on what he said on the night. If people want to say im talking s**te then fair doos! He was on a night out with Mulumbu and two others who i didnt recognise. My mate said “we will see you in the summer” to which JJ replied “itll be sooner than that” As i said, maybe sweetening my mate up so we stopped talking to him, but all the same hes more than replaceable. Be chuffed if he stays, good luck to him if he goes.
capitalkillie
He was rubbish today. Didn't do anything like the amount of off the ball hassling we know he can do. When in possession he look like he was never fully in control and as if he was dribbling a rugby ball. Don't think he's had a good game since SC took over.
Rml
I'd like him to stay but if we can get Naismith in then take £500,000 for him and move on.
DrewWylie
he went through a really good spell for us but since the call up he's been pants ---- I've not read previous posts on this so I don't know who's in for him---- if rumour has it's the Huns I'd forget that because they can't afford a new manager never mind cash for a new player ------ bottom line I'd sell him tonight
piffer
Since Clarke has come in there has been less focus on individuals and more on the team which I think impacted JJ. He seemed to thrive on the get the ball to Jones he'll make something happen attitude we had at the end of last season and beginning of this. That wasn’t a successful formula though. Now we are focused on the team. Guys like Dicker, Power, Mulumbu, Brophy, Boyd are all making bigger contributions and it’s them we want on the ball as they are looking more likely to be putting opponents to the sword rather than gaining yardage or a set piece with JJ.

Excellent point, JJ’s technique is very poor, always seems to scuff it and it’s very rare he delivers an accurate cross, even if he does beat his man.
chubbs
The lack of bite, running and pretty much anything decent today looked like a player going through the motions without risking an injury ... he must've s**t himself when McGinn tackled him.
jam1869
Tope Obadeyi scored and assisted more for Killie than Jones has, both about as consistent as each other, if we get anything 500k upwards, cash in.
piffer
Tope had all the attributes to be a top player in this league. It’s just a shame they never seemed to all click at once and his brain had little control over his body.
stewarty66
Rangers just signed a left sided midfielder on loan from QPR so looks like Ipox will not be his home.
Trojan76
Jones has went right off the boil. He was terrible on Saturday and that was against effe Ambrose FFS. More made out of Jamie Mac's clanger than JJ's umpteen clangers against EA, granted, they weren't on same par, but i do think this break has came just at right time for JJ, hopefully a wee recharge of batteries is what is needed. At moment, i really do think that he would even struggle in championship down south going by recent performances.

Pompey Repatriated
Apparently Pedro spent £11 million. That could be why they're buggered though.

Whenever I've seen Murphy recently, he's played wide left. Unless they plan to play him centrally, there seems no reason to sign them both.

piffer
Is this a twist that brings the Jones and Naismith stories together

Jones is a good runner but has no end product. With 1 million I would trust Clarke to bring in someone who can finish an opportunity as well.
killieblue
Also, That’s another good thing that Lee Clark did. If Jones does go for 1 million, That’s 2 million made from 2 players.

Bullitt
If we got anything like £1m for JJ and Naisy came in as a replacemet you'd have to put this transfer window down as an absolute cracker!
Killjoy1869
Norwich are potentially getting About £15 million for James Maddison (which is crazy) so £1 million is a drop in the ocean

piffer
I’m not convinced we will see a million but that would be huge to us. Sitting at the AGM and listening to how much difference the Coulibaly, Magennis and Clark money made last year. Another substantial figure this year could continue to drive us forward.
Killjoy1869
After watching Burnley today, unless he has grown a foot a bulked up 2 two stone of muscle, I can’t see how he would fit in that team of hammer throwers
