killiehippo
Much appreciated and hopefully it has a big effect however would they not have been just as well saying £10 entry and kids under 16 free with an adult.
skygod
Exactly. Why create hassle for punters and staff and run the risk of it being another bugger's muddle on the day?

mirras
"The “Bring a Friend” ticket can be purchased on the day from cash turnstiles" ... So, does this mean season ticket holders also need to go through the cash turnstile for proof? What's to stop anyone from claiming by saying "my season ticket sponsor just went through the season ticket gate" ? Sounds like confusion is on it's way yet again....

Agree totally. That would save the usual problem trying to double up with a season ticket holder. Things like this will hopefully be sorted as/when we have a representative on the board with a fans perspective.
theauldyin
so why can they not just make £10 admission for everyone including walk-ups? and give free tickets out to schools for the Moffat stand
Confidemus1869
Seems overlay complicated to me
cedricdragon
My son has an under 16 season ticket, so i will need to pay £20.
virtuocity
Surely if they made it a blanket £10/Free then the same would have to apply to away fans.
skygod
You only have to offer away fans the same price for a comparable view, I think. As the Moffat Stand won't be open, there would be no similar view. Didn't we recently have to pay top whack at an away match when the home fans got a bargain? Fir Park maybe? aumgn
To be honest, so what if we did? It's not like Thistle are going to outnumber us like Rangers or Celtic do and it might go some way to improving our standing that we treat other fans decently. Might even be reciprocated at some point in the future.
King
Hamilton did it to us on Saturday! 2 free tickets for every home ST holder.
skygod
That wasn't a cheaper walk-up price though, like what is being suggested.
King
I get that but tying the deal to season ticket holders means you can charge away full whack. There's no way we could offer home £10 and away £20 considering the view is worse from behind goals.
gdevoy
Sounds like a decent offer top me.
Trojan76
Good offer, just not easy to implement, can see chaos at the turnstiles

If folk want to find something to moan about they will. My sister is using my bring a friend. She's delighted she's saving a tenner. Don't see what the fuss is about.
Dennykillie
If there any vouchers left in the ST book, they could perhaps used one of these. When presented at the turnstyle, the voucher holder would pay the relevant price. Would that have been an option?
MrTumnus
It would have been an option if we had season ticket books.

Trojan76
so STH needs to but a ticket in advance for their friend
