historyman
I haven't read that but if you are interested in Germany, and in particular Berlin, I would recommend: Stasiland - an incredible memoir of life in East Berlin under the communists books by Philip Kerr about a private detective in 1930's Berlin. You get three novels in a single book called Berlin Noir. Tor - the history of German football. Das Reboot - the story of how Germany reinvented itself again as a football world power. Think Project Brave only not just a pile of pish. You can get this book for a few quid in Fopp just now.
