KillieFC
We have been asked what we have in terms of text/photos etc. from the Inter-Cities cup tie against Leipzig for a book that is being published by the club to commemorate their 125th anniversary. Got a lot on this week so looks like a job for you lot! Anything would be appreciated.
skygod
Their 125th anniversary, or is this a "message for Jordon"?! Seriously, this year would have been the 125th anniversary of one of the clubs which merged to form Lokomotive. I found their goal on You Tube, but that's not much good for a book! I've got the home match programme - I imagine others will have both. Here is a link to the text from Dave Ross' book about 1967, "Very Heaven" - https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=blr6AgAAQBAJ&pg=PA77&lpg=PA77&dq=kilmarnock+lokomotive+leipzig&source=bl&ots=YCEhVSmEKS&sig=9X7Ek1obZNsZqLqL2DaxogKDCdY&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi5-f3btt7YAhWnDMAKHXHUDew4ChDoAQgmMAA#v=onepage&q=kilmarnock lokomotive leipzig&f=false This site has a match photograph here: http://www.killiefc.com/en/1966-1967_50940/ The Leeds Utd match programme had Eric Murray's goal against Lokomotive on the cover. Again, I've got a copy. Edited January 17, 2018 by skygod

Mister Y
Remember the clever free kick between Dickson McLean and A N Other that resulted in goals for us when up against a defensive wall? Who was A N Other?

Who was A N Other? If it was the one which worked against both Thistle and Hearts in the 1970 Scottish Cup, I thought it was T McLean, Morrison and Jim Cook with Cook the goalscorer. Definitely McLean and Cook, uncertain about Morrison.
skygod
What was your first game? Waverley replied to Waverley's topic in Killie Kickback JimmyCook with his special free kick goal. Eddie Morrison stood in front of the wall, Jimmy ran over the ball, Tommy McLean rolled the ball to Eddie who flicked it to the side forCook who smashed it into the net. They scored against Thistle with the same move in the previous round and almost score...
