Would rather have strachan. He was slightly more positive in the way he had them playing.

I have a sneaky feeling the MSM will leave SC alone for the immediate future. They'll be to busy slaughtering the SFA for this truely uninspired appointment. But who cares.... #wearekillie -
Bbk
Really great news for us but dire news for our country as has been said we would have been better sticking with GS.
DG5
Good I dont relay care the SFA are a mess too many protecting there own interests . But It leaves us with Clarke.

AndyKTID
Horrendously uninspiring appointment by the SFA but great news for us, glad I don’t really follow the national team too closely, always find it hard to support players such as Brown, Griffiths, Forrest etc whereas when we play Celtic ,for example, I take great joy in giving them dogs abuse -

killieboy1869
Excellent news! The media can now focus on Killie, and how well he's doing at Killie. Well at least for another week or two before they start touting him for Ipox.

tanerba'Tam
Maybe if McLeish picks players in form such as SOD we might get on better rather than guys who are out of form/past it!!

No chance, it’ll be the old favourites act as usual, god forbid choosing 11 players who are all bang in form instead of the same old names
Candygram for mongo
Good news for Killie. As for the national team...we now have a manager not as good as the previous one IMO.
Bigdodge
I don't particularly give two shiny sh*es about McLeish.....as it means we still have "The Chosen One" at Killie. Of all the managers in existence either in or out of work, it's a sad day when that's what the SFA have come up with. Why couldn't they do what normal folks do and advertise the job and see who applied??? But hey ho.....onwards and upwards for us.

Mogwai
I'm glad it's McLeish. I think he'll do a good job. And we still have Steve Clarke!
Souleycouley93
Look after your bread and butter . Killie Hope McLeish proves us all wrong and does something many including himself have failed at last twenty or so years . Good luck to him . Clarke staying is a bonus on top of a phenomenal month . You’d have to say he’s a shoe in for manager of the month again . -

Let's hope he is in with a shout after the next few games as they are three difficult ones. Edited February 16, 2018 by historyman
Chris
Reading the bbc article it sounds like they couldn't afford Clarke's compensation so went for the free option.
