azert
Looks like Motherwell have accidentally published the highlights. Oops!! Watch them quick!
fraz65
Thanks for posting. Was it a fair reflection of the match or did they predominantly just show the Motherwell chances?
Killie71
Sky Sports stats were Shots 13 v 11, on target 4 v 4. Possesion 56% v 44%.
RayD
Can't believe Mclean didn't give one of those penalty claims, and we had to defend some amount of crosses and corners. To come away with another 3 points in the bag is brilliant...loving this

Dillinger
I've been stuck in my deathbed all weekend, so to wake up to that is fantastic. Was gutted to miss out yesterday. Looks like some really resolute defending from our back line and Jamie. Nice hit too!
Souleycouley93
Motherwell crosses for 6 minutes . Macdonald didn’t have to make a save . Jones could have ended game if he slipped Boyd in second half . Never felt at any point they would score . Great goal from Odonnell . He settled down after being done a few times in first twenty minutes .

kfc_superteam
At the end of a tough week it's the result that counted. There was a touch of mourinho about that performance. Had we conceded Im sure we would have come out more. I think we're just lucky nick Walsh wasn't refereeing!
Bullitt
Didn't think any of their claims were penalties. Having watched it back I'm still of that opinion. In fact no one even claims for them except the player who was "fouled"

His final ball is frustrating as hell lol.

Souleycouley93
It is , Jones really needs to make better decisions he slips Boyd in it’s a goal game over . Just read some Motherwell forum there . A lot suggesting Robinson is a better manager than Clarke and that they wouldn’t take a single killie player for themselves. Motherwell who could cross for days and not have our keeper make a save apparently outplayed us and deserved to win . Clarke put a team out with make shift midfield and played totally new formation and we done what we needed to win . 9 wins in last 12 games in All competitions . Clarke is a genius . Fans were superb and we are top six going for Hearts with our games in hand . Positivity of the support today and recently is excellent . Bring on the Hibees

He looked much more deadly against Ceptic. Also O'Donnel was getting taken to the cleaners in the first 20 minutes but settled well after that. Thought we were toiling yesterday but as SC says we were suffering a bit from the after effects of Tuesday. Good to get the points. Shows you the mentality of the Scottish game really, let's have a manger that likes to pump high balls into the box and a team of tall bruisers who go down at the slightest opportunity. Also who wouldn't want the joint top scorer in the league in their team at this time of year, or Mulumbu, SoD, Taylor, etc the list goes on. That strike by SoD really reminded me of Tom Black who was never afraid of a go from distance. Wonder how good he is at free kicks? Souleycouley93
It’s quite hilarious . A few Motherwell fans to be fair said that it was a non starter even discussing it . Clarke’s reputation speaks for itself . Overall we won and that’s all that matters . Disciplined and excellent defensively . Having a structure and shape with a good counter attack makes us a very difficult opponent . Honestly just love supporting Killie at the moment . Could talk about them allday . The Hibs game will be a real test but with 7 home wins on the bounce and Dicker etc back we have to fancy ourselves . Gutted I’m missing Scottish cup away in Aberdeen hopefully a crowd like yesterday and a win .

kfc_superteam
Just shows how much the Dundee game took out of us. Understandably. Including the Hibs game we will play 7 games midweek, weekend. Basically 3 weeks worth. Big test for Clarke and the squad
piffer
Reading some of the reaction in the papers today that was a huge win for us yesterday. O'Donnell climbed out of his sick bed to play, A makeshift midfield and a group of players who run themselves into the ground on Tuesday night. Taking all those factors into consideration you’d expect defeat but there is an attitude and winning mentality in the squad. Hopefully players will return over the next few games and we have a renewed freshness about the squad. The two suspensions in the last couple of games may be a blessing as it’s given two players a chance to recharge who we probably wouldn’t have dropped. Some of the guff fans from other teams spout can’t be taken serious. We at the moment will be guilty of the same but the reality is there will be players at Motherwell or Thistle, Hamilton, Dundee, St Johnstone who would improve us. And what’s more given the job Clarke has done with some of the squad it’s not the obvious players we’d be looking at.

Pretty much, most of our chances were breakaways and if JJ had made better decisions it could have been a more convincing win.
Wrangodog
Maybe JJ should just go with instinct. When he has time to think about options, pass/shoot/cross he invariably picks the wrong one. He got into five or six excellent positions yesterday but his final ball was really poor. Still, at least when he had possession he was relieving pressure on our defence and getting the ball into the Motherwell half. SoD did well down the right side in the first half, but understandably, faded in the second.

Unless someone is able to "coach" to go by instinct (contradiction in terms) he will never be a player at a higher level. Yes he takes the pressure of at times and provides an outlet but yesterday especially he was downright awful whe it came to pass a ball in the box. Brutal as it sounds his ability to find a teammate anywhere more than a yard away is unacceptable from a professional footballer. Thats why he is with us.
