ki11ie
Back page of the sun today saying we could be due another 500k from him, as we have a 25% transfer clause in the deal and a team from saudi arabia are in for him, al-ahly demanding 3million

Bullitt
Say what you want about MJ... but if he got £1m up front for a player we signed for free 6 within 6 months AND put a 25% future fee clause in then that's an incredible piece of business!! 500k could be given to Mulumbu to keep him here for another two years on a decent salary. Fletch
This whole saga has been bizarre...yet profitable. We apparently have a cheek to ask for £1M for Jones who is playing every week yet they can demand £3M for a guy who hasn't kicked a ball in a year.
charlie1
I get the feeling this will be a non story As Trump would say Fake news Hope I am wrong
Squirrelhumper
They'll be lucky to get a fee for him never mind £3m.
skygod
I thought the club said at the time that there was no sell-on clause? Big fee, paid up front, no add-ons?

Can now see where LC was going what what looked like a completely scatter-gun signing session last summer too! Kept us up and cash in the bank meant better players were signed this summer - incremental progress. Maybe MJ got it right in the end, or maybe if you sign 100 players on a free, you may eventually find a diamond!
DAVE_T
I thought he was training with Hurlford and that his club had ripped up his contract as such as they were seeking some type of action via the footy governing bodies ?

He was, went down south I think. I don't think the contract situation was ever clarified.
Wee_Eck1979
His contract situation is irrelevant as his club hold his registration and FIFA would likely rule in favour of them rather than Coulibaly.

And rightly so, he's been found out as a liar in this whole episode
