Strange decision that one SH... heard any more seems to be trickling out by way of rumour?

Nah, just got Celtic one through somebody I know that works there.

Just seen this that backs it up.

------------------------------------------------------------

CELTIC won’t get the chance to wrap up seven in a row against Rangers.

We revealed last month the SPFL had originally pencilled the derby to take place on Sunday April 22.

But with the Hoops now just one away from being crowned champions again, SunSport Online understands league chiefs have rescheduled it for a noon start on Sunday April 29.

The Parkhead side have the chance to secure the title on Friday April 20 against Hibs at Easter Road, with the first post-split clash set for a 7.45pm kick-off.

Celtic will then be presented with the Scottish Premiership trophy on the final day of the season at home to Kilmarnock on Sunday May 13.

The Old Firm news is likely to disappoint Hoops supporters and gaffer Brendan Rodgers, who urged SPFL bosses not to bottle out of a box-office title decider.

But ever since ugly scenes marred Rangers winning the league at Parkhead in 1999, league and police chiefs have gone out of their way to avoid a similar scenario.

Celtic passed up the chance to win the title at Ibrox in 2012 when they lost 3-2, but that was out of the SPFL’s hands.

Meanwhile, the Hoops are also expected to face Hearts away on Friday May 4 and Aberdeen at home on Tuesday May 8.

Has no one at the league thought of the scenario where they lose or draw at Easter Rd (as they’ve already done this season) and will then have the chance to win the league in their next game - at home to the zombies?? Amateur hour has lasted a whole week now and that’s the master plan?

You couldn't make it up, to avoid a potential title win against Sevco they've handed them arguably their toughest game (apart from us!) which as you've said they've already struggled this season, brilliant.

I couldn't care less where or when they win it, but to show the sheer incompetence of the governing body, it be great if its against Sevco,

as said last week the post split games should been ready as soon as Top 6 confirmed -- couple of days to get it ok'd by Police /TV and then released by Monday there

obvious that certain clubs been informed of the dates -- hope if our club has then it has complained again re the set up IF we are to go to Ibrox again

Might explain the delay?...

All winnable.

If that is the lineup we should have nothing to fear.

Will be really interesting if we can get to within 1/2pts of Hibs before our game against them. And the hardest game we could have got is the last one (with the league done and dusted and potential cup final they could rest some players)

Bring it on and lets see where we finish, anything else now is a bonus on an already great season
