Accies home, Fred

Up until last 5 minutes we were really comfortable, scored our 2 goals and could’ve had 2 or 3 more. Rory unlucky not to have scored with that volley. Boyd should’ve scored.

Ref was very harsh on erwin second half which was a shame as I thought he was excellent first half. McKenzie put in a serious shift today as did power and Taylor.

We won at a canter without JJ, Mulumbu, Broadfoot, Tish starting. Easy three points. We would have bitten our hands off a wee while ago for such a comfortable victory. Just don’t understand the negativity from some on here.

Perfectly summed up we need to accept easy wins and move on.

Still chance of catching Hibee’s for fourth..,,?

Comfortable is the right word for it. Second goal came at a good time as it effectively killed off the game. We weren't that great but Accies were very poor, it was only in the last 10 minutes that Macdonald was called on to do anything and he made a couple of smart saves.

Defence was solid, centre-halfs winning everything that mattered. Full-backs good coming forward, Power and McKenzie were the best for me. Was a bit disappointed in the front three today but Erwin took his goal very well. First touch, turn and shot was superb.

Again though we never seem to make anything of our many corners and free kicks. Don't remember one of them leading to a good chance, Accies posed more of a threat from the few they had.

4 league wins in a row - it's been a long time since we did that.

Pretty solid and mostly comfortable today, SOD a great out ball esp 1st half and a threat going forward.  When we kept shape and discipline we were better, I thought towards the end the shape deteriorated a bit, decision making final third, final balls and shooting was a bit off, perhaps just tiredness in a game the players knew was won.  McKenzie and Power were good.  Boyd unlucky.  Hamilton always just a stuffy dull opponent, I'm looking forward to more football v Plastic Whistle

I didn't think we played well today and agree with the comments re never getting out of second gear, but we didn't need to.

It was so comfortable and I think Hamilton's first shot on target was about the 70 minute mark. We absolutely deserved to win the game and with exception of @TheeOhSee and Canning (who always feels his team deserved more) I think most would acknowledge that we were considerably better than Accies.

Really pleased with the ease of the win without 3 of our most influential players from start. There is a quiet confidence now that the team exudes, we seem to know we got enough to see out games. Very comfortable without hitting the heights. Unblevieable run continues. Looking forward to an away day at thistle.

The phrase "routine win" was invented for games like today. Went in to it in very little doubt of getting the three points and easy to see why on the balance of play. We started well and did well to take a goal from our opening pressure. Hamilton then turned the game in to the sort of dross they specialise in, not making for much of a spectacle with lots of the usual dirty, niggly stuff we've come to expect from guys like Mackinnon and Imrie - two wee neds with no footballing ability who swagger about like they're hardmen but never got near the Killie midfield all game.

Thought Erwin took his goal well, and laugh of the day has to come from the Hamilton keeper somehow letting O'Donnell's knock back in to the box slip through and in to his net. To be fair, that came from a corner won by a Brophy shot, and the play in the lead up to that chance was excellent, with Power starting it in our own half, passes across the defence, a run from Taylor and a crossfield ball - so we probably deserved a second at that point. I'd be keen to know who it gets officially awarded to, as it looked like Dicker maybe flicked it on its way through the box.

Special mention to Stuart Findlay for his 40th minute challenge, lunged in about 5 yards out and stopped what was a certain goal with a tackle that was as clean as a whistle. Really great defending. Lovely to see that we've stalwarts like Jones, Mulumbu and Broadfoot missing today, but none of them are by any means certs to come back in. Even Greg Kiltie is struggling to get back in to the starting 11. Great to have options, and thought Clarke got his choices right once again today by opting for the forward three with Rory in to do the hard work.

Wouldn't be fair to say Hamilton never troubled us at all as Macdonald had to scramble to gather the ball on his line a couple of times near the end, but a comfortable win and no sign of throwing away the two goal lead the way we did under McCulloch earlier in the season.

Got on to the pitch for the presentation of the Community Hero award as it was me who nominated Ross. Fair to say we had a ball and my 4 year old was well chuffed at getting a kick of the match ball before the game.

On to next Saturday and the wee fella's first away game!

Yes I watched all of the game we were poor. lucky we were playing Hamilton today really.

Hamilton are a horrible destructive team and unless referees control the game properly, they get away with murder. Today Killie outplayed them comfortably, dominated the game and played it at our pace. The referee was not the worst but still let Hamilton away with some poor tackling but eventually got his card out to nullify their wilder antics.

We created plenty exciting moves during the game and with a calmer conclusion could have scored another 4 goals, so I find your assessment a bit of a misjudgement. Killie are playing a certain way that relies on breakouts rather than majority possession and its working, so lets enjoy it.

If today was poor I can't wait to see what damage we are going to cause when you see us on a good day !!!!

Dicker stood up well to McKinnon's efforts at bullying him in the first half and let him know in no uncertain terms he was taking no s**t from him. And that was without big mad Kirk to back him up!

I don't think dicker needs anyone to stick up for him against a daft wee ned scott brown wannabe

Don't know what boydy has to go to get a foul these days. Against aberdeen he was nearly stripped naked by the dons defenders and now guys doin a tornado ddt on him.

He could try being in the same vicinity as erwin. Apparently that was worth a freekick today

Stephen Odonnell is a total gift from god. We have cried out for a right back like him for years. Scores and sets up. How he isn’t in Scotland team I’ll never know. Didn’t have to get out of second gear. Good to see business being done early. Expect Dicker and Findlay next week. Cannot wait for Partick and Hamilton away. Jones back in to the team and pummel them.
