Tom061087
Form table for the last ten games - 8 wins, 2 draws and 0 defeats, 26 points is incredible. The previous ten games won’t be all that different either. If only Clarke could crack the Aberdeen conundrum

historyman
It's incredible. I'm nearly 50 and it's the first time they have done it in my lifetime. If we had beaten the Dons on penalties we would have won the cup. It has been a wonderful season - all the more welcome given the dross we had to watch over the last few years.

historyman
Burnley broke a similar record of their own today: Burnley's victory means they have won four consecutive top-flight games for the first time since November 1968. it must be the day for these kind of things.

"Encouragingly, June began with a record crowd of 13,013 watching the ISL’s remaining unbeaten teams Kilmarnock and Burnley go head-to-head at the Polo Grounds, the Scots triumphing 3-0 in a foul-ridden game. Michael Strauss reported that 'members of both teams shook hands after the game. This sudden cordiality caused considerable merriment in the crowd. For the players had hammered at each other as if they were mortal enemies.'” The New York Polo Grounds (East River top right). Formerly the home of the Giants baseball franchise which moved to San Francisco in 1958, it was described as shabby and desolate with seats which were encrusted with grime. There was not enough parking space and the neighbourhood - Harlem - was not good. In brief, this was the worst possible place to attract paying customers. It was demolished in 1964. fraz65
A terrific and unbelievable run of results. The best performance of the last six games was probably the home draw against Hibs, although I didn't see the Rangers match at Ibrox.
Scouser2
So many impressive stats and a terrific and entertaining run since the change in Management noticed even before our final game before "the split", we now have more points than the bottom 2 teams combined.......unreal when we have been used to so many seasons of scraping by

Good stat, tried to forget that game happened. Should of won it with Erwin clean through, apart from that one of the most boring games I've watched.
