jam1869
Westlake already away. Think he will keep Smith. Other 2 can go. Hodson, Findlay return to own club. Mcculloch wont be registered as player. Mckenzie, Slater, Addison and others out of contract. Big rebuild indeed.
skygod
Findlay's contract at Celtic is up this summer. The following Killie players are out of contract: Addison, Ashcroft, Brennan, Faubert, Hawkshaw, Henshall, Johnston, McKenzie, Slater, Splaine, Syme and Westlake. Out of that lot, I'd imagine LC would be most interested in Addison and Slater.
killie billies pal
Would keep Boyd, moving him towards a coaching role as season progresses. Heard a whisper that McKenzie is Inverness bound, when he came on he was full of energy and running, will be interesting close season, Craigieboy will have a ball!!

historyman
There is a big turnover of players at almost every club every close season now. It makes the job much harder for managers and is one of the reasons why there are so many sackings these days. There is great deal of room for improvement in the current squad with players like McHattie and Carrick certain to join the others on the way out. The only one that has surprised and disappointed me so far is Splaine, I thought he was worth keeping for another year to see how he developed.
kfc_superteam
Looks like Ashcroft is away. He tweeted Been a good 6 years at the club, happy to finish on a high, met some great people & friends for life, all the best!!

Scouser2
Quite a few players both in and out of contract are getting told today by Clark ...they are not in his plans for the future...
skygod
Ashcroft has had a good run without ever establishing himself as a reliable first choice. He should have no trouble getting a good Championship club and good luck to him.
ScottM
Slater's tweeted - he's off too.
Scouser2
Slater will be a big loss....struggled this season like many to find consistent top form but given his age will only improve given good coaching and better players around him.
skygod
I assume we offered him a new deal in which case are we (and St Mirren?) due compensation? Edited May 23, 2016 by skygod
Mark
Best of luck to them both in the future. Ashcroft looked to have learned how to play the 'old school' centre half style from Addison but LC may rate Mark Connelly coming back in as a better option with addition of a new signing. Really disappointed we couldn't keep Slater, think he could have flurished in the team playing the right way.

AT11
Despite last couple of games, think it's the correct decision re Ashcroft. He will have done his chances of getting a decent club in the Championship no harm whatsoever. In general, I think Clark has to be absolutely ruthless. There are very few who should get another chance after some of the stuff they have served up this season and positive change is required.
PrestersKtid
Annoyed that we couldn't keep slater. I'm guessing he has a better offer on the table. Hoping LC can gel the new team a bit quicker that his predecessors
gmullin88
I'm surprised Slater has been let go, one of our better players.
skygod
He hasn't been "let go" - his contract is up and he has chosen to go.

Killie-Fore-Erm
Gutted to hear of slaters departure. Maybe sometimes inconsistent but given time I think he will become a very complete footballer. Wonder where he will end up?????
jazza
Bit off topic, but still to do with 2016/17 in terms of season tickets. I'm gonna renew them online this week. Do you just use the card that you have now or will you be issued with a new one? Just noticed the card doesn't have the season years on it, so once you pay does the system just recognise you've paid for 2016/17?
