trenwick
Thot team as a whole were excellent yesterday, but did anyone else notice kazim richards man handle a steward who was chucking one of the celtic mob out for being on pitch after goal while the police did nowt or do you think that was just the minority like the sectarian singing we always hear about and the sfa do nothing about it
Wrangodog
The Celtic game didn't prove anything. We played well against them and took points under Locke but we still couldn't beat the teams around us. Celtic were really pretty awful at times, the pressure to get a win was badly affecting their judgement and only a wonder strike bailed them out. I've rarely seen a Celtic side with so little imagination in how to beak down a defence. The Thistle and St.Johnstone games will determine whether we have the stomach for the survival dogfight.

The above sums up my thoughts. Celtic are really poor right now and being under pressure from The Sheep is making them nervous. Right now we need results. The time for good performances has come and gone.

In fairness, in both the previous games (the first in particular), it took miraculous goalkeeping and some absolutely shocking finishing from Celtic to get the point. The 2-2 game would have been about 2-8 if they'd finished the chances you'd expect them to. The 0-0 was better but still relied on excellent from the goalkeeper. The game yesterday, in spite of the loss, was one where we prevented them from creating much of anything (though in fairness Celtic's form isn't exactly sparkling either). MacDonald had only pedestrian saves to make aside from the goal, which I think we'd all agree no goalkeeper would be expected to get to.
a1killiefan
Scottish Sun - Sunday 20th March 2016 CELTIC striker Colin Kazim-Richards WRESTLED a steward away from a fan who had run on the field to celebrate a Hoops goal. Ecstatic supporters attempted to invade the pitch as Australian substitute Tom Rogic scored a wonder goal against Kilmarnock to win the game. Some of Celtic’s following managed to even join in with the team’s celebration, but one fan was grappled by a match official and escorted off the pitch. And former Feyenoord forward Kazim-Richards, 29, rushed over to grab the steward and tried to release the invading supporter. Kazim-Richards, who signed for the Hoops in February, was hailed for his actions by the Celtic faithful on Twitter. Hope the steward reported him.

Whether he believes it or not, it's a good tactic. I like that he comes on the pitch at the end of the games (when the team have applied themselves) and gives them some encouragement, an claps the fans. Wee things but it's stuff like that which gets fans on your side. Celtic fans going on yesterday like they'd won the Champions League. Very good, boys. 100% deserved at least the draw; one for the stattos....when was the last time we went a season without losing to Celtic? I commented on a post by Killie65 where he quoted Clark as saying "we will definitely stay up", in his post match interview. If this was indeed what he said then that is whats crazy my friend. I'm all for positivity but to make a statement like that is naive. We both know comments like that will be used against him by some lazy journalist looking for a story, if we don't stay up. Good/fair chance of staying up yes, definitely no. I can't believe there are fans of Kilmarnock that found Clarks comments to be anything other than pleasing to hear. So what if a journalist quotes him in the event that we go down? Is anyone here actually going to care at that point. The manager said exactly what he had to in order to rally the players and the fans.
jock
I heard the Clark interview and thought he was very good and during the game itself was very animated and also talking to the players, coaching and encouraging...now will we stay up? I have no idea but if he could get 7 more performances like Saturday we will have a chance of escaping the bottom two places...
Bullitt
Just seen the highlights. Ashcroft once again a very lucky man to not give away a penalty. Team played very well and certainly look more organised than in previous weeks. I have a degree of optimism about our chances.
piffer
Agree with that Bullitt. At the time I thought Kazim-Richards was doing the pulling but with the replay we really did get off with it. The one in the first half as well usually refs would be pointing at the spot before the Celtic players started screaming. There were here a lot of strange refereeing decisions most of which I thought went against us but we got a break with the penalty shouts.

Maybe refs are just becoming inured to any Ceptic player getting in the penalty area with the ball going down faster than a whore's drawers.
