CB should not be slated for his language (as he has been on many occasions) due to the difficulties he has. It would be polite if anyone who didn't understand his sentence structure asked for clarification rather then just make fun of him.

He is young and as keen a Killie fan as I am aware of and clearly spends a great deal of his life on these forums trying to figure out who is the latest player who could be a future Killie star. OK he may be a "tad" unrealistic with some of his signings but some of the abuse he gets is uncalled for. He could do with fellow fans being straight with him without being sarcastic or ripping the you-know-what - otherwise he won't learn. Don't get me wrong - I have a sense of humour and sometimes there is a comment that creases me up - but there's a fine line between gently ribbing and just being mean.

If you've got steam to vent, away and give paddles or Taz grief instead.

Lulu, im tending to agree with Sandman here. I don't think he is 'slagging' craigie because of the language he uses, it is more about the same posts repeated over and over again.

I have never objected, nor will, to any of Craigie's posts but they do become quite irritating, nobody can deny that. But as you said, they are all killie orientated and he is doing no harm so i personnally don't mind them, but i can understand why others with shorter patience will. It has been made aware on several occasions that if we are llinked or are going to sign a player then someone will post it, there isn't a need to ask every other minute.

It has nothing to do with his language or grammar (for me anyway), just the repetitiveness.

That may be true for you but I've seen dozens of posts doing exactly what I described above. As for the repetitive speculation - if folk don't have the patience to read the name of the poster or the person who started the thread and they then get annoyed that the read it then tough luck! He's not going to change overnight and he's just desperate to find out who's going to be at Killie as soon as he can.

If only more of our fans could have some of his optimism Rugby Park would be a happier place!

PI,

Thanks for the support.

Lulu,

I was quite careful not to mention the structure of CB's posts simply the subject matter.

I generally don't go in for criticising other posters, but in the second and third posts on this thread, two posters expressed the wish that Harry Forrester, a young lad from the EPL who hasn't even played a game for us yet, would be replaced in January. Maybe Harry won't be the answer, but signing guys on loan from the top end of the EPL is about as good as it gets for us.

I personally think it is very negative to constantly harp on about new signings when we have a shedload of players trying to settle in. These are the guys that Mixu has chosen and I reckon we should give them a chance before we speculate as to who should replace them. If we signed Bob Harris, Venance Zeze, Basile Camerling or Basil Fawlty, which of our guys who've barely kicked a ball yet would you want to get rid of?

I personally am very excited about this new team (maybe I'll be proved wrong) and I would rather get on with supporting them. If someone is not cutting the mustard, I'll be the first to say "they'll no dae" and should be punted, but I'd rather give them a chance first.

Sandman, you like a good moan etc on here so when I see your posts/threads I don't bother reading 9 out of 10 of them despite the fact that they might be a very valuable contribution. I have never insisted once that you have to be stopped due to the content of your posts. You are free to do the same with mine or any other poster. If I don't like a posting I ignore it.

Now I will say it one more time in the most patronising way I can.....IF YOU DO NOT LIKE CB's THREADS THEN DO NOT OPEN THEM. SIMPLE. OPENING THEM AND THEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THEM WOULD SUGGEST TO ME THAT THE USER NEEDS SOME MEDICAL HELP. IT IS NOT HARD TO 'NOT' DO.

As for CB's "MIXU TRANSFER KILLIE".....the boy is a comic genius.

MTK

442

Fair enough, I should have separated that point which was obviously aimed at those members who do unfairly criticise his language.

And the other points.....?

Well in this instance i got the impression Sandyman deliberately avoided mentioning Craigie's grammar and sentence structure, i took that to be the point of his post really, that he should be treated like every other. Eg, if brainstorm or itwasntme continually posted the same things over and over after they have previously been answered they would get slaughtered, and quite rightly, sent back to their own forums of drivel. The same should apply to Craigie.

I also don't buy the "don't like the thread starter, don't read the thread" line because often debate from other contributors will arive and information (loosely) related to the thread title is likely to be posted by someone. And they tend to be fairly amusing.

Anyway i don't think i have or do moan and what Craigie or anyone else says so im speaking from someone else's point of view

Love the above!!

As for this link, it just popped up on my Facebook page and this kid in my opinion will be one of the best players we will see. Watching it made me think of George Best. Magic stuff. A little bit one trick pony but C.Ronaldo was given that tag and he's done alright.

No chance! He's far too young. A centre-half would break him in two...

Too small, too greedy, not direct enough. Too much of a prima donna. Needs to get the ball into the box sooner. How would he do on a wet night at Hamilton with hard as nails defenders booting him up in the air? At least Jamie Fowler will always give 100% effort.
