Player Notes: The 33-year-old striker preferred the greater security of a three-year deal in Dingwall rather than accept a six-month contract to remain at Kilmarnock. He joined the First Division outfit despite having offers from Livingston, Grimsby Town and Partick Thistle. McSwegan, who won two caps for Scotland and joined Kilmarnock in 2002, was likely to be given coaching experience with County.
