News & Quotes

Aug 14th 2017 (on the Celtic pre-match):  “We just need to look at ourselves, first and foremost, especially after losing at Parkhead last week.  We have to put things right and try and get some points on the board. They won’t make as many changes to their team as they did in the Betfred Cup tie. But we have the Astroturf pitch in our favour. I’m not sure they like playing on it. We need to turn it into a battle but, other than that, I really couldn’t tell you how we’ll go about it. A bit of luck would help, though. Everyone has worked really hard in training and there was plenty of effort against Hearts on Saturday but it just doesn’t seem to be clicking yet. There are signs of progression, however. There was nothing negative about our performance apart from the goal we lost — that was the only talking point. There was nothing else we were worried about.”

Aug 13th 2018: Killie can confirm that Lee Erwin has left the club to explore an opportunity with Tractor Sazi in Iran. The 24-year-old scored eight goals in 45 appearances after joining from Leeds United last summer. Lee was part of the Killie squad which achieved our highest-ever league points record, scoring the winner in a 1-0 win over Hearts as we reached 59 points.
