  2. OK we weren't great yesterday but we won because the guys kept working throughout the 90 minutes. We need to sort out the RB position and why we stuck young Green out wide today will remain a mystery, as he looks to have the touch and confidence we need in the heart of midfield. McKenzie should be wide right and Boyd and Couly up front with Jones causing havoc on the left wing. M Smith looks a decent bet for the future, so there is enough talent there to move us on particularly with this win under our belt. Jamie had no chance with the goal as there were a couple of unmarked Accies players hovering beyond his right post and the pace of the final shot was just too much for him. It was a failure by the back four to clear the danger leading up to the situation. The amount of moaning by us as fans on this site is depressing. We are working on tight budgets, new manager, new players and have that parasite in the background no doubt stirring up trouble whenever possible. Give the guys a break and start supporting the team instead of negative armchair punditry. Those of us at the Hamilton game were frustrated for much of the match but the support was consistent and we helped them through to a successful outcome. We are entitled to moan at times but some of the input on this forum is in danger of creating a self fulfilling prophecy if it gets into the heads of the players. We are a strengthening force.

  4. can we not have 4-4-2 kiltie and Jones on the wings and Dicker and Green in the middle? Couly and Boyd up front?

  5. Get them on dvd. Great and unique opportunity to make some £. Every other club in the country would. Have a signing copies and photo session with boydie. Get media involved etc.

  6. Think it may have claimed a few victims this weekend. Brianstorm is a shadow of his former self. DrewWylie has cleaned up on wait for it, Liverpool winning. #prayforbrianstorm

  9. I think there should some standard of professionalism when it comes to stuff like this. This just makes us look like angry little kids. We should hold ourselves to a higher regard. We have a leader who is not leading from the front, so why don't we do it? instead of petty posts like this. Its embarrassing.

  10. Remember. The second response is for greatest scottish sportswoman. Not Olympian. But, since you ask to see the medals. Ian Stark: 4 olympic silvers 84. 88x2. 2000. 1 world champ. 1 silver. 7 european champs. 1 silver. 1 bronze. 15 medals. Eve Muirhead: 1 olympic bronze. 1 world champs. 1 silver. 1 european champs. 4 silver 1 bronze. 4 world junior champs. 6 scottish champs. 1 mixed euro champs. 20 medals. Or is that not enough medals?

  13. Looked a good addition for us yesterday but agree he should be in our midfield engine room. Perhaps his fitness levels didn't make that possible yesterday but that's where I want to see him in future. The team is on the up and this lad looks like a great capture for us.

  15. To be fair, it took Josh about five years to adjust to playing in Scotland.

  16. Imrie's dug song would have petered out if it wasn't for the guy who stood up and ranted that they should be singing about Killie not dugs. Predictably after that they rarely sang anything else. Ranter could have been McLean, had that look about him and clearly didn't like Killie fans

  17. Of course we are in the relegation battle, we were always going to be. it doesn't matter who the manager or players are. With the finances available any manager was going to end up with a squad around the current quality. A different manager might have signed different players but the overall quality is what we'd end up with because it's the level we are now budgeting at. if we go down it won't be lee Clark to blame, but the man who has killed the club of investment, fans and hope. MJ! changing the manager won't change where we are now challenging in Scottish football, the club needs a complete overhaul if fortunes are to improve on the park.

  18. We are going down under Clark. I called it weeks ago and was shot down on here. I agreed with his policy of ripping it up and starting again and was encouraged with his fresh approach to signings but his ability to put a team on the park who can play football is non existent. This is as bad as anything I've seen from us.

  19. Josh scored less than 1 goal in 4 games for us. To get 250K for him with less than a year on his contract is a great/lucky piece of business.
