  1. What an ungrateful prick you are. This website is a godsend to exiles and most of us are thankful for the time and effort the guys who do it put into it. I had a look back at your previous posts and if you are not having a go at Hippo or Baz you are having a go at the Trust and now the ones who tried to get the EGM off the ground and do the petition. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand where your sympathies lie. If you hate everyone else that much why are you even on here other than to troll? You clearly have an agenda and it doesn't seem to include spending a few quid to buy the fanzine that you are so desperate to read. How do I block this s**t-steering arsehole? Embarrassment to Killie fans and part of the reason MJ is still where he is.

  2. Water off a duck's back for the most part, but still mildly irritating given I work 12 hour shifts and have a family that I'd rather be spending time with when all this stuff has to be done. Still, I'll work on it and get it done somehow for the benefit of those who do appreciate it, if I don't no one else will and the fans who talk a good game but never actually do anything will have a field day slagging me off again. Heaven forbid I have a dig back (how unseemly) or just ban those who appear to delight in ripping into the site they ironically sign in to tell us how much they don't like. I keep telling myself we are all on the same side and not to rise to it but sometimes that seems like wishful thinking and its not a scenario that everyone views the same. I've had lots of disagreements over the years with fellow fans about various issues but in the main when we meet face to face we can find common ground and realise that we want the same things and just have a different approach as to how to do it. Meanwhile there are still those willing to hide behind screen names and take pot shots at what they don't know and don't understand because they are raging inside that they've been had and want to lash out at someone, and being 'visible' through doing this makes me a target. It's the internet, I understand that and just have to deal with it. Meanwhile it is Remembrance Sunday and I have an event to attend which weighs a lot more heavily on my mind than football club politics. I'll be part of a delegation representing the Trust laying a wreath at a ceremony organised by the club this afternoon, that's what requires my attention at the moment ergo that's what I'll be doing. If in the meantime I find a way to get the Hippo articles online then I will do that as well. If this deems me a failure and open to abuse then so be it, I'm sure the boss won't be long in letting me know.

  3. Having just read the report on world teams finances. It seems that Scottish football average wage is 3 grand a week. That is a yearly salary of just under 150 grand. This is 1/18 of what EPL player earns. As this is an average of teams wages, we all know who is paying a lot more than that, as I can't see most spl teams more than 1500 for top players with most likely to be on less than a grand a week. The report as all things in Scotland revolves around old filth perspective. This will be trotted out every chance they get especially for their inadequacys in Europe. as we are due to play Ceptic this week, can we expect the Scottish press to say how much our salary is per year as a comparison to theirs.? Can we expect them to say brown, Sinclair and dembelle earn more than our squad budget? if we do put up a good show then will we expect the press report to say despite the massive financial gulf between the teams Killie did exceptionally well? Think we all know the answers but it would be good if the press would highlight the difference in our league and not bemoan that poor Ceptic struggle in Europe due to lack of finance to compete!! As im saying that, I have just bet on killie to win at 14/1 on Friday. should pay for a slap up meal in killie.

  5. His argument would be valid if: A) Scotland had reached all major tournaments prior to Rangers demise. 1998 was our last major competition. I see a comment above that only Durie featured from Rangers at that tournament... I wasn't sure if Colin Hendry was with them at the time also... but reality is there wasn't many Scottish players playing regularly with Oldco at the time. B) Rangers had a large selection of current Scottish internationalist at the time of their demise who followed them to division 3. Now to my knowledge guys like Whittaker, Naismith and McGregor went onto play in the premiership which is a considerably higher level that any Scottish league so a counter argument could be made that their demise BENEFITED Scottish football.

  6. Maybe that's because the people working for the club are being paid to do a job and people like Baz,Hippo, SH, etc. have a job,a family, and are doing what they do for nothing out of their own spare time because they care about the club. Feel free to moan if you disagree with that statement.

  7. Boydie, away and throw s**te at yerself man. This article is the biggest pile of utter pro oldco bollox i've read in a while. Rangers were not demoted they were liquidated and ceased to exist, the newco was then allowed to flout basic SFA rules to get back into the senior leagues.

  9. Why would Michael O'Neil leave a good team to manage the pish we've got? The SFA will appoint from the usual small pool of cronies who in turn pick their buddies to play international football. We are fast becoming a 4th rate footballing nation and that's a fkn disgrace.

  10. I don't see the relationship between an article designed to appease one half of the great unwashed and the grief of losing his brother. Sympathy doesn't extend to agreeing with the content of a stupid article.

  11. I think he's being criticised for his views as a newspaper commentator and not his worth as a Killie player. If players choose to wear two hats, it comes with the job.

  12. Do you believe everything in that rag of a paper what he wrote may not be what was put in paper!!!!!. Right now we have more pressing issues to deal with a slimeball.

  15. Plunkit, I know too well the time and energy that the fan groups put in so I'm not having a go. I just feel that the club AGM was a bit of a watershed moment and since then we have had ex directors, potential investors all coming out and basically stating that Johnston has to go. It just seems that the fans have failed to get properly organised and as a result MJ is still getting an easy ride. IMHO the fanbase are looking for strong leadership and KFCSA are best placed to do this. BB should have been pressurised into speaking to the fans months ago as the silence is deafening. Ultimately it looks nearly all of us want the same thing so lets work together to try and achieve the common goal.

  16. Reality check. All this talk of 20,000 is nonsense. They turn up at cup finals and important matches because they are fair weather fans and glory hunters. We are down to the hard core now, probably more than the actual hard core as we are still in the top league and still attract walk up fans when we are playing the bigger teams. We are lucky that we still have over 2,000 fans that still give a toss given the rubbish that we've had to put up with over the years. You look at that naughty list thing and every single point has been a boot in the baws for our fans and as we only know to well, some folk were never that bothered in the first place and used any excuse just to chuck it. I don't think that makes them bad people, just people who need to have a reason to spend their money and their time on our football club, why shouldn't they? You don't waste either going to see a pop concert if you are not that bothered about an artist's latest album and we are in the sport and entertainment industry. Loyalty has to be earned, those in charge at our club expect it blindly and are finding out to their cost that people have other priorities. Considering a large proportion of the fan base we have left just want to go to games and want someone else to deal with the nasty stuff and some bizarrely even attack the fans who are trying to stop the rot, I'm surprised we got that many signatures, not surprised we didn't get more. Reality check. The silent majority will continue to be silent and a lot of that will be down to shame at how they have spinelessly allowed Michael Johnston to drive all the good people away from the club and gradually sell off most of our assets and yet still leave us with a team that flirts with relegation every year.

  19. That was when prices were cheaper and a lot more factories in the town. We used to have an unemployment gate as well. There are lots of fans who can't afford to go to the football.

  20. All the best with your efforts hippo hope all the Killie fans who have stayed away because mj was here do what they said and come back when he is gone to support our team like many of us have done through the past seasons regardless of Mr Johnston being here because we love Killie.
