Rugby Park wins are like buses. Wait ages for one and then two come in quick succession. Yuss5 points

There's the bit that matters. This forum is collectively obsessed with Rangers. They're discussed on a daily basis. I hate them as much as the next Killie fan, I really do hate them. But I wish they wouldnt come up at every turn.5 points

Losing Power was huge. I can't wait to see Dicker and Mulumbu when they're fit. We had those two, S Boyd and Burke who have all been short of games. All things considered we did well, especially defensively. Kirk Broadfoot diving in his own box when we were winding down the clock was great. I've been impressed with his form since Clarke came in but there is literally no low too low for big Kirk when it comes to cheating.4 points

Not a chance in hell Clarke will go to Rangers. He went to the wrong school for that and turned down bigger jobs down south.4 points

Forget about what we think, the facts are that last December, we had three home games, averaging 3321. Of our two home games this December, we've averaged 4259. An increase of 938, or 28%. If you think that is poor, considering how long we've been in decline, then you have unrealistic expectations. @Mclean07 - you have complained that ' A decent increase in the pre break matches could easily have funded a decent player to help the momentum going.' 938 extra bodies paying 20 quid for two games is almost an average squad wage for us, and probably will be when we factor in the Rangers game.3 points

McDonald MoM easily. A game we would have lost easily earlier in the season. And a special wee mention for Kris Boyd thought he had his best game in terms of effort in many a year.3 points

Oh how good it feels to have a manager again! I don't count any of the idiots since King Kenny left.3 points

Mrs V has sorted out a couple of gifts. Hope we manage to gather in loads. I work with vulnerable kids and their families and some of the generosity of Killie folk this year has been completely inspiring. The Masonic in Killie had collected hundreds of gifts, as have various businesses in the town. A lot of people don't actually understand that there will be many kids waking up on Xmas morning to no presents. Poverty in the town is definitely growing. So, stop by Tesco on your way to Rugby Park and get a couple of selection boxes or modest toys- it WILL make a huge difference.3 points

Haha, na ill happily stick with poor crowds in a better league. Does anyone go to the AGMs know if this subject is brought up? I would be interested to know what the clubs approach is on the matter. Moving the shop back into town is smart. The club could do with marketing and promoting more but it comes down to budget doesn't it. What I want to understand is how do we get back to the crowds we had in the 90s? Or is that unrealistic? It is something that I think at every home game, seeing the stadium pretty empty is frustrating. Cost is an obvious associated issue, inflation has gone up again and people naturally have less expenditure, so what can the club do to encourage people back from that perspective? Free entry to first round of one of the cups? Like the club used to do, was that for Europe? Its not much but something extra. Being competitive on the pitch will be a factor, however, as everyone on here knows the team have drastically improved of late. Big/Key signings. Starting to see snippets of this again with Steve Clark, Mulumbu and if we get Bassong. I always remember in the 90s being struck at the signings we made, like Cocard that blew my mind haha. Better half time entertainment? Clearly not going to be a selling point in itself lol. How can the club increase viewers, interest, followers on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter? Take out more adverts in local papers? Do more in the community? Killie TV? It may well be a generation thing. By which I mean how many fans from the 90s have passed away and not been replaced by younger fans coming to games? My papa passed away many years ago now and used to be a season ticket holder. So how does the club replace each generation, entice young fans to come to games? I can understand the crowd size not improving if we keep finishing bottom 6, especially constantly in or around relegation but if we were to finish top 6 and make decent signings and still the home crowd didn't improve much, then I would be concern. I suppose overall we will need to wait until next to season to get a better judgement of the situation and hope we can maintain our current form to justify people coming back. After all we are just at the beginning of a new chapter in the clubs history, long may it continue. KTID.3 points

19 points from the last 11 games (I'm giving him the Thistle game) and more impressively, 10 points from 4 games in December so far. Stevie Clarke is most definitely God2 points

I recall a great Mitchell story from a Celtic fan. He got of flight and got into taxi frightened to ask the result as Rankers went for 10 in a row.The poor guys heart sank as the interviewer asked "Ally that must be one of the most important goals you have ever scored?" . Of course Ally then replied and my mate thought thats not McCoist and only then did he realise it was "our" Ally who had scored the winner. I also remember a game when McCoist and Mitchell were warming up during a game and the fans chanted "theres only one super ally" meaning Mitchell!2 points

Shared the lift with him (going down for breakfast) in a Belfast hotel. Knew I knew the face but couldn't place him as he was in civvies. Luckily met him again outside as we waited for taxis. Ally was on an explosives (quarrying) course, I on much more boring safe systems of work (permits) course. Introduced him to my big h*n colleague who said to him, 'you broke my heart that day at ibrox'. Ally winked, smiled and shook his hand. Happy days2 points

I really hope you are correct in believing he wont leave us for another club.If he were also to invest that would be a huge bonus and would show a real commitment. I do still have a chuckle at the badge/colours debate especially when my 16 yo son came to the game today without even a wee badge. Having said that it does remind me that he hasn't arrived home yet after i told him he had to walk the 19 miles to Paisley as punishment!2 points

Steve Clarke was an inspirational piece of recruiting by the Club. Well done to the Killie Trust guys for doing all the groundwork on Steve's availability etc and recommending him to the Board. The turnaround in form and respect shown to Clarke by the players is clearly evident. I look forward to hopefully seeing other signings in the calibre of Mulumbu in the January transfer window and thereafter securing a top 6 league position.2 points

I would say the FB has got busier than the East in recent times. I estimated around 1700 in the East giving around 2000 in the FB.2 points

To be fair If we had appointed God as manager I don’t think he could have taken that team to the verge of the top six already. God aspires to be Steve Clarke2 points

Doubt it. If there's no bounce now, there never will be. Cracking new Manager producing excellent results. The wow factor is now and after all the great publicity and the admiration from media pundits, the Kilmarnock public resolutely refuse to respond. We can't ever complain again about lack if ambition it's not rewarded. A decent increase in the pre break matches could easily have funded a decent player to help the momentum going. That and backing TiK would have been a signal of our ambition.2 points

We weren’t great at all today, the players all looked knackered but managing to still come out with a win is brilliant. Sometimes we need to win ugly, couple days break for the players and we go again on Saturday. Good times to be a Killie fan.2 points

Great result sometimes you have to dig in to get the result you want . Agree we were better team first half. Motherwell came back into it second half. We couldn’t keep the ball down. We will win games if we keep it on the ground. Keep it going Killie.2 points

Great to get a win when we perhaps didn't play brilliantly. Thought first half we were decent and worth the lead without having being too clever in final third. Second half for whatever reason it just didn't work for us and there was a spell of 20-25 minutes that was really uncomfortable. Dug in in the end. Special mentions for Scott Boyd, Macdonald and Burke. Thought Kris Boyd was excellent in terms of leading by example. Dicker and Power not quite at their best today and even Mulumbu showing a bit of class didn't play as well as previous two games. Still think there's something bizarre about the shape, with the three to accommodate Mulumbu, the two to accommodate Boyd and Brophy, leaving one lopsided winger without a clear job.2 points

Also it just completely sums up the media in this country that they even asked that question when it has absolutely no relevancy to anything discussed. Why would be want to go there anyway, if it’s not good enough for Derek McInnes then why on earth would Steve Clarke want to go there?2 points

Sorry way off the beaten track with this post, Greer has stated the obvious to a reporters question, as have no doubt many Killie supporters to their hun supporting pals and colleagues (guilty as charged your honour and stated with some glee). As an aside I hope GG stays as his influence pre and post Clarke at the back has been major, his performance away to Aberdeen was outstanding, best I've seen from a Killie CB in a long time....2 points

Gary Ralston in The Daily Record has been banging the drum about Clarke for Ibrox for a few weeks now. It was kind of under the radar at first as obviously all the attention was on Derek McInnes, but it's an idea that is getting a bit of traction now after the debacle with McInnes and the way our results have been. This kind of speculation has a tendency to grow in the hothouse of the Scottish football media and I hope this one doesn't go much further than the Record's Hotline.2 points

Nice to see a bit of respect for Killie supporters who spend money on a Season ticket to support the club both financially and at home games! My wife has a season ticket and refuses to go to any home game involving the twisted sisters. She hates the atmosphere at these games, not only having to sit through the bile coming from the away fans, but it brings out the worst in our fans too. I still go to the games but can totally understand why fans choose not to go to these games, especially if they take their kids with them.2 points

It’s funny that when Boyd is scoring the criticism of his media commitments decrease. Like Estragon I’ve no problem with him trying to please all of his employers.2 points

Come in guys can we stick to the script please? I and most other folk on the forum don't give a flying f**k where either of you sit so long as you turn up and support our team, if you want to act like p3 kids take it offline! Thought we were meant to be discussing the game. So on Findlay, am relieved Well don't have that flying machine Marvin whatshisname anymore as what Boyd and Broadfoot lack, but what Findlay has got, is a bit of pace.2 points

You don't, but you were so bitter in the past about it, so it shouldn't pass without being noted. All right for you to go, all right for you to criticise the fans. Not all right when others do the same.2 points
