  2. Great reception for Jamie at the end of the match from the fans,it was an absolutely horrific mistake & you could see he was gutted. I'm sure the reaction he got from us won't be forgotten by him or his teammates & for me that kind of thing makes the fans/players way closer than we've been in a very long time.

  3. 'Superb' Kilmarnock fans intercept Australian tourist on his way to Edinburgh Castle and take him to Easter Road The 24-year-old was befriended by some friendly supporters, who took him along to watch their team. Now Harley Mitaros is one of them. It was meant to be a quiet day of sightseeing for a tourist visiting Edinburgh. That all changed for Harley Mitaros, originally from Perth in Australia, when he came across some Kilmarnock su

  7. Seen him interviewed on the telly (by John Barnes?) - thought we'd scored too early & didn't settle into the game because of it. Managed to hold off Hibs relatively well. Deserved a point. Interview was cut off to go back to the studio for the thoughts of Tom English, Billy Dodds & Scott MacDonald who appeared to be breaking in a set of teeth for a horse.

  10. Both in numbers today and vocal backing though that was an impressive away support , and deserve credit .....and good to see that players and coaches are more visibly seen in acknowledging the fans. it's been an expensive time recently but with the upturn on the pitch the numbers travelling is showing a marked increase . At home the crowds are slowly increasing too, and hopefully this will continue during 2018

  12. I'm afraid I cannot remember the source but recall an interesting quote that comes to mind after reading this thread. "What purpose does tolerance serve toward others if you are convinced that you are right whilst those who disagree with you are wrong? That isn't tolerance but condescension." Just for the record, I would take the view that stats are a useful factual tool. However, I am always wary of their interpretation.

  15. Dunno if it is bad for everyone tbh....the ever-ending saga of Rangers' continued failure that - just when it seems it can't get any more ridiculous it does - has been pretty much the most consistently funny thing to happen in football ever. Far from society and the footballing structure of this country collapsing, everyone else just kinda stood in a circle and pointed and laughed at them. And the quality of football diminished not one wee tiny bit. Long may it continue!

  16. When others provide their opinions you ask them to provide facts. When they provide facts you then ignore them or discredit them. Meanwhile you offer opinions. Clearly the only opinion that matters to you is your own.

  17. Bill White never gave much away at the agm but I’m going to hazard a guess that the spl team paying 115% of their turnover on wages was Rangers. Hopefully they continue this trend and go under again.

  19. Since Clarke has come in there has been less focus on individuals and more on the team which I think impacted JJ. He seemed to thrive on the get the ball to Jones he'll make something happen attitude we had at the end of last season and beginning of this. That wasn’t a successful formula though. Now we are focused on the team. Guys like Dicker, Power, Mulumbu, Brophy, Boyd are all making bigger contributions and it’s them we want on the ball as they are looking more likely to be putting opponents to the sword rather than gaining yardage or a set piece with JJ.

  22. Now we've reached the break, I wonder if Clarke will reveal what his target was! If it was to be in the Top Six, it's mission accomplished. Same if it was to make us hard - impossible, away from home - to beat. And if it was to reinvigorate the support, that was achieved early on. From his recent comments, it's clear that he's a worrier who will continue to look down the table and won't be happy until relegation is arithmetically impossible. Six points clear of 11th place is still in the "too close for comfort" zone. He's had a good chance to assess the squad - injured play

  23. I’ve been critical of MacDonald but now isn’t the time to simply hand Bell the jersey. What mistakes in the last couple of games have done is highlight weaknesses in MacDonalds game. We have three weeks until our next match and it should be a level playing field for all keepers in training. No more Jamie’s got the jersey and doesn’t deserve to lose it. The spot is up for grabs for MacDonald, Bell, Dev or any keeper Clarke decides to bring in.

  28. Annoying or exceeding boring would probably have been better use of words than bad! @aumgn. Even if it did happen again, it detracts from the actual football. They'd soon resurrect themselves like Jesus Christ or Frankenstein's monster himself. Although as Jesus wasn't a Protestant, and Frankenstein was green - there may be some "cultural" issues!!!

  30. When people have to resort to personal insults, because they can’t construct a solid argument, to back their assertions, you know you’re in the right. Its unfortunate that the forum has sunk to this level as some insecure individuals seek the approval of the herd.

  31. Yes, I would agree the chart is fairly meaningless - just like the fact you regularly trot out about Woodman having more shut outs than Macdonald being evidence that he is a better keeper. You say you want facts but what you really mean is only when it suits you.

  32. He's going to the Championship for 400k, with a 50% sell on fee. He'll be sold to Liverpool in 2 years for £18m and Killie will use the money to give Steve Clarke a 10 year contract and buy a league-winning side. Can't believe some people on here can't see this.

  33. Anyone want to discuss? As a movie, it was awright, some exceptional bits, however, as someone who has grown up watching these films, and having some fairly deep ties to it(!), I have some fairly major issues with it. For those of you who are willing to humour me on this, read on.... Thanks for reading if you did. N.B I am actually 36 and believe it or not am quite a normal person.

  39. All keeper make mistakes and cost their team goals, thats never been the issue for me. Today’s equaliser happened because MacDonald doesn’t command his area. Teams know they can put the ball in our six yard box and it will cause panic. Today the goal was the result of him flapping at a ball, on another day it could be a glanced header from the opposition striker or a ricochet of a defender. The result is the same. Teams don’t get this easy option against better keepers. They have to work harder for their goals. Surely that’s what we all want? Teams having to work really hard to score against u

  41. A point more than we deserve. Power and Mulumbu surprisingly poor. Got guys like Dicker, Broadfoot and S Boyd to thank for digging in. Macdonald will be absolutely sick at the goal he's thrown in, an absolute howler. Happy to get the draw and keep the unbeaten run going. That's now three times in two games the ref has failed to give a blatant booking and then the guy has had a first booking later on in the match.

  43. To me, it's a meaningless argument when we're now playing superbly after a low confidence start to the season! I'd concentrate on getting a defence that snuffs out all shots on goal - rather than singling out the keeper. The GK is good enough. If McDonald wasn't at the absolute top of his game, a cup winning keeper like Bell would have started at least one game.

  47. You decide, I'm not McLean! All black players in 1987 were subjected to some pretty shocking stuff by anyone's standards in Scotland, England and abroad. Scotland probably was racist in the 1980s, like most of Europe. To suggest, "Celtic are the worlds greatest fans and Scotland isn't racist." is not only a piss poor attempt at sarcasm on the Killie forums, but says more about the guy telling the joke than it does about Scotland in 2017!

  48. Does it? Does it tell you the criteria to make it a one on one? Does it tell you the angles of these one on ones? Does it tell you if it was against a striker or a more defensive type player? Does it tell you if the keepers had to dive or if the ball was hit straight at them? Without that information the chart is worthless. It can equally show we have the third best defence at shepherding attackers into areas they can’t score from.

  49. Your film collection must be pretty thin if you only watch movies that you don't know how they'll end. A ridiculous argument tbh. 'Character development'? What do you mean? You get a collective of rebels (the guys who go on Rogue One) who have never been credited or addressed before, rebelling and setting in motion one of the greatest sci-fi stories; Jyn's, Cassian's, Galen's, Saw's, hell, even Vader's characters are all developed during the film, so I dont know how many of the characters you want developed to satisfy you. I know, and have known for 30 years that he wasnt going to st
