  1. We've 55 points. Nothing to see here. He's contracted to us, so I wouldn't read much into that.

  2. If “fans” have been put off buying a ST because of the past three results then they are quite frankly not worthy of the name Kilmarnock Supporters, after the season we have had, the different ways to Finance tickets I’m sorry but there is simply no excuse not to buy one except not being able to make home games regularly due to work or other commitments.

  5. I obviously accepts Hibs and Hearts have bigger fan bases, but not everyone in Edinburgh is minted and Ayrshire is not the only place with unemployment. My point is that they got off to a flying start and are now miles ahead of us.

  6. Hi folks It's the end of another mad season and for once everyone is filled with optimism. Well here's the bad news, we are continuing with the fanzine once again!, I normally try and give a wee bit of gossip, all I've heard is there are a couple of deals done and dusted and more on the way.......I don't have any names so not the best gossip ever. If you would like to subscribe it costs £20 for the online version of £25 to have a hard copy posted in the UK. Please drop me a private message or e-mail [email protected]. We also have one page left for advertising, if you know any individual or business please give me a shout. Finally huge thanks for your continued support, it really is appreciated. Enjoy your summer holidays and always remember you'll never take the Killie. Cheers Sandy

  13. We only got two home matches post-split and missed out on an OF game. Why would/ should the club reduce admission? There should be a good crowd there even at normal prices. Not so many Jambos unfortunately because there’s nothing to play for and Hibs will probably pump them midweek. I haven’t seen anyone else yet reducing their prices, apart from Accies (who still couldn’t draw a crowd). There’s the best part of three months now with no income through the gate and wages still to pay. It would make no sense to reduce the prices. That said, they will probably do it now!

  14. I just don't understand the Sheep. Against us they were right in everybody's face, including the ref for 90 minutes. Against Sevco I have never seen such a bunch of limp wristed fairies, just never looked up for it. Every time they play you think McInnes is trying to do his old club a favour.

  16. Last away game of the season, looking forward to it regardless of result, but not feart of a pounding going up there like seasons past. Gutted it's the last away trip of this season, don't want it to end.

  18. If we’re boiling health provision down to pure economics, then the elderly get more than their fair share of the pie. Why should the younger generations have to shoulder the burden of abstinence, so we can look after more and more frail and elderly patients with multiple comorbidities? Perhaps a “Logan’s run” type solution is what’s really required. Give me qualify of life over quantity any day. Eat nothing but lettuce and live to a hundred so you can wear nappies and eat your food through a straw, no thanks. I’ll continue to have a few beers when I want, a steak if I’m in the mood, a long lie if I’m tired and if I’m really desperate to have my arse and bollocks washed by an eighteen year old lassie, I’ll pay to do it now while I can enjoy it, instead of waiting till I’m old and in a “care” home. Thank you government for your concern, but just spend my tax money on doctors instead of bullets.

  22. I think, in fairness I covered genuine reasons not to buy a ST, my not worthy comment was directed at anyone who decides not to purchase due to last three results and I stand by that. we are also looking for people to join TiK and help in many other ways, what chance have e got of catching St Mirren and Motherwell. im sorry if I have offended anyone, but we can’t exactly refer to Paisley and Motherwell as hubs of employment, I guess their locals care more about the clubs.

  23. Talking sense on here is ill advised. Me and my chum McLean are regularly chastised for opinions not understood by the bubblegents! Whatever happened to that very rare poster Specklyhotdog (or similar) ?? HOWEVER.....your belief that cutting the entry price would fill the stadium IS NONsensical! We wouldn't find 15000 extra punters if it was TWO QUID, never mind ten.....

  26. Now confirmed that we have finished fifth in the league, excellent season, two games to go, hopefully put on a good showing, especially at Rugby Park next Sunday, would love a big support on a sunny day to show our appreciation

  27. There are no negatives to putting the tickets out as early as possible, only positives. Gives a longer early bird window and give people knowledge of the pricing structure and longer to pay if they are struggling. Before the Hamilton game would have been perfect but the boat was missed, and after the past few games it will probably cost us a few.

  29. Announce a big name as Manager, sell more season tickets .....spread rumours of big investors and supposed interest to sign star players....then days later announce yet another share issue and appeal to gullible fans to hand over YET more cash.....and forget past problems and poor season.. ....fly back home to South Africa ....job done

  35. Most enjoyable of my 20 years going. The belief and togetherness of the squad is brilliant. Hopefully a few additions in the summer and kick on again next season. Cement ourselves as a top six club and best outwith the cities. Trust Clarke 100% to make the right decisions. Hopefully a big crowd next week to show the appreciation the squad deserve.

  36. An excellent season without a doubt containing some of the finest games I’ve ever witnessed. SC’s first game at Ibrox - when that goal went in at the end the celebrations easily matched that of the League Cup final. It was wild and signified the start of something special. Frightening to think 8 months of Steve Clarke football has saw us take more points from the OF than what we did in the whole Jim Jeffries era.

  37. A bit of perspective. My oldest son got married on a day when we lose narrowly at Ibrox. When I got married we were losing at Meadowbank Thistle!!

  39. Are we lacking creativity? We scored last week with two of our three goals and the disallowed one coming from JJ doing the work from wide. Aberdeen we didn’t have that. Yesterday those who saw the game suggested JJ was very quiet. We do rely on JJ or the fullbacks to be our most creative players. Do we need similar to JJ on the other side to spread the threat or an Eremenko type who will roam and pull the strings from anywhere? I don’t really see a creative influence in rest of the team. Mulumbu can dominate but I’ve never viewed him as the guy who will lay chances on a plate for a striker on a regular basis.

  41. This must be the worst Westminster government we've ever had. Corruption, dishonesty and incompetence leading to horrific 'austerity' policies, the WASPI women's pension plight, unleashing monsters taking us towards Brexit, weasel words and not much action after Grenfell... and now Windrush, leading to innocent British pensioners being sent a Notice of Removal, where they have 7 days before they can be taken at any time without further notice. It is the direct consequence of the Hostile Environment policies introduced by Theresa May when Home Secretary, which has seen taxpaying British citizens homes and jobs lost, NHS treatment refused and some even hounded to death. "We can deport first and hear appeals later". Amber Rudd boasted that she was going to deport more migrants than Theresa May. A leaked letter revealed Rudd's 'ambitious plan' to increase the number of removals. She wasn't too bothered by this issue until only a few days ago. Both May & Rudd have been accused of misleading Parliament, but yet, there have been NO resignations from a government who has persecuted and terrorised innocents all their time in office. And isn't it a shame our ineffective "Opposition" hasn't done more to hold successive Tory governments to account? Apart from David Lammy, who seems to be out on his own on this, the job is being done by independent investigative journalists instead. Despicable people!

  42. As for this Javid chappie, he was in charge of Grenfell and getting all the families re-housed... two thirds of families still don't have a permanent home ...so no incompetence or controversy there then!

  44. Some of us have been saying this for months, but we were told it would be 'gradual" and we were "negative" and we "hated" Killie fans. Now Alan McLeish has said it, it's "honest". Our crowds are better, but they were down to a very low base and should have recovered quicker. Let's hope the season tickets sell. It doesn't get any better than it currently is. I said before that I knew for a fact that the people behind the scenes were disappointed with the response. This reflects exactly what I was told.

  45. The BBC seem far more obsessed with the scourge of anti-Semitism in the Labour Party and the hurt feelings of "Sir Cliff". Never mind the overt racism of government ministers. Keen enough on Tory party funding Russian billionaires but keen to root out as many offspring of commonwealth immigrants they can find without the correct paperwork (which Officials were only to keen to destroy). Doesn't bode well for the current children of EU nationals in 20 years time.
