Do we want to de rail Ayr? Personally would love to see the Ayrshire derby in the top flight. Even if it's for only 1 season and 3 games. Atmosphere would be amazing15 points

Only 15 starts for Erwin with us though, which included 4 of his 5 league goals. Stewart won't have made many sub appearances. Erwin gets it a bit tight on here and I think it's unfair. Whenever he managed to string a few starts together, I thought he looked like a real asset.7 points

Bollocks, he wouldn't want or need a knighthood. He is a down to earth Ayrshireman with no need of royal acceptance, so SC is just fine.6 points

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46881003 "Thistle has been my life for the best part of the last 10 years," Erskine said as he signed an 18-month contract. "I hope me leaving now doesn't ruin how I'm thought of." Have a read of that Jordan, someone who looks like he actually gives a f**k.5 points

aw no... My dream scenario for January is for Greg to do enough in the Forfar game to convince Sir Steve. And then go on to score such a sparkling hat-trick in the Rangers game that Gerrard breaks down in tears in the post-match interview and says "We've blown all the cash we don't even have and we've only gone and signed the wrong one." Or going to Morton, getting fit and in form and derailing Ayr along the way might just do for now...3 points

Because it’s about 2 inches and VAR was supposed to be to reverse obvious errors. Can’t criticise the linesman for getting it “wrong” - from 45 yards away if he gets it right it’s as much luck as anything. If the no obvious error rule is used then the goal stands. I much preferred the old offside rule where there had to be a gap between attacker & defender for them to be offside.2 points

f**k sake blue tinted specs or what? McTominay is definetly a better player than Gary Dicker or Alan Power. To play “very occasionally” for Man United is a massive step up in quality, class, pressure, you name it. Champions league fitba? No played in the pressure cooker of Rushden and Diamonds or Carlisle United tho. Let’s be realistic here. Either that or Mourinho never saw Power/Dicker play.2 points

Not exactly a priority area with Power, Dicker, Tshibola and Wilson available. Would rather the budget is spent on Stewart, a wide man with pace and a central defender. McTominay would cost a fortune in wage contribution.2 points

Article from the Telegraph below late November. The full piece in The Telegraph published only in England!! OUR oil is the only way they can save their economy after a disasterous Brexit!!! Now why would they not have published that in Scotland?! Lied to us in the 70s, lied in 2014. Seem only English editions print the truth.2 points

What the chance-goal ratio? What I mean is, Stewart has missed a few sitters that I think Erwin would have finished. Not saying Erwin is at all the better player.2 points

Not understanding a lot of these selections By the Rangers game we will have been almost 4 weeks without a game Most of the other top teams having at least one friendly Rangers game is massive, so I would hope we would be playing most of our first choices on Saturday, to get match sharpness back up to speed2 points

The only sensible solution to all of this is a league restructure. I'm thinking something like this: The Premiership 2 teams: Celtic and Rangers - play each other every single week and keep all tv money for special television channel just showing their games No relegation Winner gets Champions League entry at pre-pre-pre-pre group stages, and a special wee trophy to mark them being amazing and all Runner-up gets UEFA Cup entry at earliest stage Scottish Premiership All the rest of the SPFL teams plus two from Championship Normal relegation etc with rest of leagues Winner get Champions League entry and SPFL trophy, runner-up gets UEFA Cup entry Some Rules The Premiership teams cannot vote on items which impact upon Scottish Premiership and vice versa No PCAs allowed between leagues Teams from The Premiership are summarily banned from ever claiming that their rubbish European performance is down to lack of competition at home Teams from The Premiership absolutely cannot f**king come back if it turns out they get bored with each other Teams from The Premiership can, instead, go rot in their own filth while the rest of the country gets on with its life The Daily Record and The Sun will, of course, continue to cover every single game from The Premiership with 16-page supplements and hyperbolic claims that it is the biggest game ever2 points

He is as he was as a player a total pellet of a man. Thistle have had a mare over his appointment and but for Falkirk being utterly s**te they’d be rock bottom and definitely going down.1 point

He signed a 3 year deal in 2017 so unless Barnsley tear up his contract itll be a loan if anything1 point

Bed wetting or not, it depends on how you look at it. If we'd had Stewart earlier we could have been leading the league, not just a point off the top. We're not going to be sitting in this position very often, with a top class manager and a squad that was top class but now needs strengthening. Do we back the manager and strengthen or just accept that other teams that have strengthened are going to overtake us.1 point
