A plea to Killie fans travelling to Ibrox on Saturday... After Newco crashing out of the Scottish Cup, and more than likely ending the season trophyless, it will be VERY tempting to sing the "Cheer Up" song to Steven Gerrard on Saturday. Please, please, please don't sing the word "Orange" though, otherwise we've totally lost the moral high-ground and are just as bad as Glasgow's twisted sisters! How about changing the word "Orange" to "Slippy" instead!?

As part of our 150th Anniversary celebrations, Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce the launch of our Former Players’ Association at our home match against Hamilton on Saturday, March 30. A series of former players have already pledged to join the group with a preliminary meeting to be held before the Hamilton match. The group aims to ensure ex-players remain in contact with the club and are able to watch the team and interact with supporters. Members will have the opportunity to attend home games at Rugby Park and will assist with our Half Time Draw and take part in Q+A sessions in our hospitality lounges. Former players will have unlimited access to a range of services provided by the club as well as support from The Kris Boyd Charity. Killie legend and Hall of Fame inductee Paul Clarke has kindly volunteered his services to help Ray Montgomerie with the running of the group. The Kilmarnock FC Former Players’ Association is open to all former first team players and anyone interested in joining should contact [email protected]

Greg Stewart was, IMO duped into going to Aberdeen, he must have been told that he would be able to play the same way as with us, hasn’t happened, his wife has said how unhappy she is being in Aberdeen as they loved their time at Killie, being able to live in Stirling was very important to her. He has now been dropped from their biggest game, will watch carefully as to what happens in the future. We are Aberdeen’s biggest threat to automatic Euro place, for a small amount of money they were able to snuff out our threat( or so they thought). The Agent with double interest probably was talked into helping DMcI. I really hope we get Greg back at end of season, a club our size cannot discount such skill and quality.

Stewart's transfer to Aberdeen in January might prove to be a good long-term development for Killie. We now have more chance of signing him on a permanent contract in June, after an unproductive six months at Pittodrie, than we would have done if he had continued his form from last year.

I’m surprised so many people are pushing for Millar in instead of McAleny. McAleny has had several pretty good performances and scored once. Millar hasn’t shown much (due to limited opportunities) and also scored once. For me, the Sevco team should be exact same as Monday but McAleny in for Jones and, if fit, Mulumbu in for McKenzie. And Brophy 100% has to start in his best position - striker.

Would be far more accurate if they had a percentage of total passes that are long balls. We knock the ball about on the ground a huge amount during the matches so our total passes are likely higher than most sides as well. I'd imagine we are quite high up there on the short pass list as well.
