  1. Bit s**t on technology so as I was off today I went down to buy, stood for a wee bit then that knobend Sawyers joined someone in front of me, after listening to him for 5 minutes it’s surprising how quick you can pick up learning things online.

  2. Sorry mate don’t know you but that’s a pretty poor comment. Some people including me HAD to stand in that queue for a ticket. Personally I was there because I was trying to get my Dad his normal seat as he has poor mobility. I had already purchased seats online over the weekend. Our block was blocked off and could only be released we were told by ticket office staff. Others because they wanted their own seat(for whatever reason), they don’t use internet(for whatever reason), I’m sure there are other reasons. If the club advertise tickets go on sale at 1pm, no one appears until 1.25pm, they then realise the printer/ticket machine/whatever isn’t working that’s not good enough.

  5. The club have had many opportunitiues to be more creative however at present the licence for clothing products is held by Just Sport, understandably they are not as flexible and to be honest making a few T-shirts i am sure is not part of their business plan. My designs do not and will not feature an official club logo as this is not permitted without permission, they may in future feature "1869" as that is my logo. My business continues to pitch ideas to the club, and as above so far 'official' clothing products can not be made. Hopefully this will change if a new provider is appointed. The t-shirts are for fun and for Killie fans, i dont think?? the excellent KillieFc.com has a mechanism for advertising - if they did off course i would be interested. When i first pitched the concept of retro replicas all profits were going to Charity. Its not really helpful making "shady" site accustaions - in future all my garments will be ethically sourced, our in-line store is fully guaranteed by consumer protections and credit protection laws. I work full time in sportswear and sell in over 30 countries. @Lroy has so far choosen to put his awesome designs on the drop shipping site Redbubble which is a global platform allowing anyone to be creative. His designs also do not compromise copyright.

  6. I understand your points, Historyman. However, being in the Europa League is something which is unlikely to come around every year. The financial rewards of progressing - compare with the Betfred Cup! - are very substantial for a club of our stature. Were we to make to group stage, unlikely as it might be, the money for doing that alone would be £2.92m - more than we got from the SPFL for last season. That's without even getting a point in the group stage. I think we would take a dip in our domestic form for money which would represent a real step change for the club.

  9. We do need to get a couple of signings up front if we are to give ourselves any chance against Partizan. If we can compete with Sevco and Celtic, we can compete with Partizan.

  10. Would that not make it more difficult for people to find a seat. Buying a ticket with a seat number allocated should mean that everyone knows exactly where to go. And can buy tickets to be seated with friends. It works in cinemas, concerts, rugby, trains, planes. Just not rugby park it would seem.

  11. Also people shouldn't have to justify themselves. If the club are offering physical tickets then they should be well equipped to sell them - not leave folk waiting for 2 and a half hours in a queue and tell them all sorts.

  12. Saw this thread, jumped on the Killie website, bought tickets immediately. Zero issues. Got email, text and QR code instantly. Annoyed that me and my dad's normal seats have been taken, but we'll just sit two seats up and frown at them in mild disapproval.

  13. If Alex Dyer leaves the club it should be with everyone's best wishes - and a trust in the manager's decision. Folk that are on here seeding the idea that Alessio is somehow insulting the memory of the last few years by actually managing his own staff need to take a look at themselves. God, last week we had a few suggesting he was in danger of "losing the dressing room" before a ball was even kicked. The last two years have been the best I've ever seen - perhaps will ever see - but they're over, and Killie will move on. I like Alex Dyer, and the players seem to like him too - and I'd like him to stay at the club. But, if Alessio decides we're better without him - at this stage - fine.

  14. I agree , Can't stand people who think they are important and make a fuss. However i think its time the Club took a look at the Admin performance , It seems the club is struggling adapt to the success of the last two seasons, I applaud the club for the progress they are making with the fan base and idea's they are trying to implement , But i feel the Admin structure needs improved....Sounds like we have one PC and one printer. Perhaps this is a wake up call and i hope they learn for the mistakes/issues. I some times feel even the shop is like a wee village store in a big Town. By the way i bought my ticket online with no problem. don't think i could have stood in the sun for a couple of hours.

  16. The core issue is poor customer service. Club advertised tickets going on sale in shop then couldn't deliver.

  18. I'm sure once AA sees your message in this forum he will stop d*cking around preparing his players for these Europa League ties, undermine all his negotiations by making things public and start churning out names left right and center even though they haven't signed yet in order to ease the worries of guys like us on forums like this. Just hang tight pal - he'll be right with us.

  22. I've noticed in the second friendly and in the CQN game that Dicker's role seems to have changed slightly and he's playing deeper into the defence at times. It looks like when we're going forward Dicker drops into centre half position and SOD/Taylor push a bit further up. Not sure if it's a massive tactical difference but it was the only thing about our system that didn't just come over as more of the same IMO, and that's not a bad thing at the minute.

  26. Yes, it was easy for me, but not if I had wanted tickets for quite a large section of the FB, which would have required going back down the phone call route, other people have had the same problem who sit next to us. Minor, but shouldn’t occur. Also, I respect the right of people, who maybe aren’t comfortable with technology, to use the service to physically buy a ticket. For a while now, we seem to be able to keep finding new ways of selling anything to do with a Killie a hassle, when the secret of sales is to make things easy. (See Amazon).

  27. I got my tickets online without a problem, although there would have been one if I had wanted my usual seats as the whole section not accessible. I quite like a change of seat for cup games anyway. However, it is unfair to criticise those who chose to buy in person and are faced with a shambles. As has been said, if the club are offering the service it should be easy and efficient. Also, I see ticket.co getting a free pass again as there will inevitably be teething problems. They have one job to do, and they are a ticketing company. Is that so difficult?

  28. Are you paying for advertising on here? I know that the club merchandise leaves a lot to be desired but what is with the sudden influx of goods trading on Killie's name and our brand and the Club are making not a f**king penny out of it? It's basically all we have to sell and our so-called fans and many other shady online stores are coining it in while the club is losing out. The club should have someone controlling this and chasing these chancers up and should also be sorting out the shop so there are not so many gaps in the market that we are not filling ourselves. Fans are not helping by buying this stuff, it just encourages them. If you see something send it to the club and ask if they can get it in stock, maybe we will see some action. You'll not be getting a washer off me pal, despite the tshirt looking decent!

  29. He did not denote Billy Thompson, we need a UEFA qualified goalie coach, and BT refuses to do the courses. IMO the fact that he has been kept on a all shows the respect that AA has for the staff SC had at the club.

  34. Great news I reckon he will put a lot of pressure on Broadfoot for a starting place. Was impressed with what I saw. There has been talk of Alex Dyer's role at the club he must have had a strong influence in this one, which is encouraging in terms of his role in management team.

  35. I think it is fair comment to say the club have struggled with off the field matters in recent weeks. Any business looking to retain and attract new customers needs to continually address, maintain and improve customer service. The experience of buying is unique to each individual customer. My own personal experience over the last few weeks unfortunately has been very poor. Renewing my season ticket was a shambles completely due to the new ticket buying process. Renewed but at times it felt like climbing a mountain. Connahs Quay ticket sale followed a similar pattern. Thursday game tickets almost going same way. I still don't understand why tickets are only available days before the game. I have got my tickets online but it is not my preferred method of purchase. Just because you can get tickets online doesn't mean that everyone is comfortable or wants to use this process. A question still not clear but can you still buy tickets at the club shop on the day of the match? I am sure things will improve or at least settle down but there are lessons to be learned.

  36. The English are much better at the "gift shop and tea room" stuff than we are in the West of Scotland. Still fuming at Diageo putting the Jonnie Walkers visitor centre in Edinburgh. Cause they are really short of visitor attractions.

  37. I think this is all moot anyway - or am I missing something? Surely this was the Park Hotel’s event and not the football club’s? Whatever way it was run I believe the club would have made f**k all anyway.

  42. Turned up and a biq queue at both the shop and the ticket office. Lassie from the shop was out and saying to people that the queue will be going for a few hours probably! Its not going to be a sell out folks so I’ve chose to go home and come back later or tomorrow. If not I can always book online!| Seems to be a lot of people making this harder than it needs be. Relax, we will all get a ticket! KTID

  43. I think we are seeded in the next round draw as we are playing Partizan so getting through round 3 is potentially no more difficult than the Partizan tie. That said the added league games come into play and that is where we may struggle if playing twice a week for a few consecutive weeks. Financially though, seems well worth having a proper go at the Europa League ties.

  46. Maybe our better chance of Italian talent this year may come from juventus. Alessio is very highly regarded there in his own right. Remember conte and he returned juventus to the dominant team in Italy after an 8 year period without league success - the platform for the continued dominance since. Conte will be a good connection at inter for sure but may take him a little time to assess his squad. Juventus are in a more settled period and may be clearer on loan status ( as we see with branescu). Nice to have a way in to both Italian giants. Hope for some announcements next couple of days.
