  3. He was top class for us. Always done his best for the badge and for the fans. Very interactive with all the fans. I'd hope to see him back him and big stu at the back any day of the week. It was some partnership.

  4. Contrast just about anyone with JJs departure. Classless thick bawsack, he fits in perfectly at greyskull.

  7. Its not about being liked by the players. Its about putting a winning team on the park and Dyer failed on that count. We must get a new manager and assistant in.

  9. I think big Del had the potential to be another Dindeluex had he stayed , I’d have him back in a heart beat .

  10. The stand out loan player by a mile this year. Proper Italian defender and wouldn't be surprised to see him kick on.

  11. It should have been AA's decision on whether to keep Dyer or not. The first mistake the club made was announcing he was staying before they even knew who the next manager was going to be

  12. Can someone else PLEASE post pictures or save the ones that Lroy posted and re-upload since everyone seems to be able to see these except me?

  14. SOD was always going , probably to dons or arabs. Sorry to see Ian Wilson leave, there's player in him somewhere. Its a plus at the moment to be light on bodies but the manager situation needs sorted ASAP so we're not in the same mess we were 12 months ago.

  15. Liam Boyce is the player ye want to grab from Hearts.

  16. Would have him back in a heart beat, if the Findlay and Fabro partnership was not broken up we would have done much better than 8th.

  17. thot as a break thru season he did ok, good engine to get up & down the park, got into good positions needs to work on his crossing, defensivley ok but most will come with experience, well done niko

  18. Serious question - how? They can't meet them or see them train for weeks, possibly months. Even at that, they can only see them in small groups. Surely there is no alternative to the reality of that being that by the time a new manager has assessed the squad other teams will have already been doing business? Normal circumstances I'd be after a new manager, I think it's getting more and more risky to change by the week.

  20. I am a huge Wilson fan but come on. SOD will be the biggest loss as he is by far the best right back we have had, even when he was allegedly in the huff still one of our best players most weeks

  21. Broadfoot is past it and Waters hardly has me out of my seat. Much work to be done when the window reopens, not much can be done at the moment I'm afraid.

  22. like the look of Connell. Worth a year surely?

  23. Totally agree , and more so when you look at some of the other players leaving who took a wage from our club for little effect ... ...the bizarre stories of likes of St Clair , Hendrie and Bunn time at our club for example

  24. Yes Brien’s partner was my babysitter in Paisley, we used to kick the ball about in our back garden, hence my decision to follow Killie rather than St Mirren or either of the Glasgow manky mobs.

  25. It looks like a daft decision by Alessio considering he still had a year left on his contract. He wasn’t even a regular starter. Alessio could have waited until he had proved himself before committing to a decision. If it was designed to give him confidence then it didn’t work as I certainly didn’t see anything in the first few months of the season that resulted in me hoping the club would extend his contract. The player isn’t good enough. Thomas has had three years to nail down a starting place in some poor squads and he hasn’t managed to do so. I would take Kiltie over him any day of the week. There is no comparison.

  27. As always should be put out for everyone to apply. We need to select the best candidate for the role, the virus should play no part in our thinking, ideally this is going to be the person leading the club for the next three years long after this has passed.

  30. Thank Dyer for his services, announce that the club is accepting applications for the permanent role. The club can't take the lazy option and give it to Dyer who has done nothing to show he deserves it.

  31. I follow Donati on Twitter and to say he is constantly shagging Celtic is a pile of s**te.

  32. Dyers points per game was narrowly ahead of Hearts. I'd like to think we would be aiming for better.

  33. Have a word. I don't begrudge them their victory, but we had enough chances to beat them twice over. They were a poor man's Livingston and a Scottish Championship team at best.

  34. Fowler has made it clear several times that he sees us developing players and selling them. Recently we have been a bit s**te at this with Jones and O'Donnell, two international players, leaving for nothing. It would make him look a bit daft if the same happened with Findlay and Brophy. I don't know the terms of the deal with Hamilton but I don't believe we would end up with nothing if he was transferred. We have to be a lot smarter in getting players to sign contract extensions and, if they won't, getting replacements in by a year before their contracts expire so they can be sold on, subject to offers being received. I hope the club is in discussion with Findlay and Brophy about contract extensions, although today's report doesn't say as much. If the players currently under contract plus those we are in negotiation with are to be the nucleus of the squad, a lot of quality will need to be added on top.

  35. It certainly will save us a few bob in the short term and that is no bad thing but for me the level of quality recruitment that is required is huge concern. I'm not sure we have the skills and experience at the club to deal with that successfully.

  36. If it's first choice then we're in a dire position. We should be looking for two goalies who are better than any option we had last season.

  37. Niko’s Twitter feed: I just wanted to say thank everyone at Kilmarnock (the fans of killie, my teammates, coaching staff, medical staff, media team) for a loan experience I’ll always be grateful for and will never forget. Thank you guys @KilmarnockFC Thoughts on his departure; big loss or not be missed. Big loss in my opinion as certainly one for the future.

  40. Based on? What knowledge of his role; and performance carrying out the job he has been asked to do leads you to sacking him? Has one been successful and the other not?

  41. That should have happened anyway. Selecting the assistant manager first was a joke.

  44. The last game that was played in the league this season was on 11th March when St Mirren beat Hearts 1-0. At the time none of them would have realised just how important that game was. If the result had been the other way round then St Mirren would have been bottom of the league on goals scored.

  47. I was at the Airdrie game as well as Falkirk (9-2) and Ross County (7 - something, probably 0!). I remember when Kerr signed for Sunderland we wondered who would score the goals but it all turned out fine! I can't remember much about him, to be honest. His goals seemed to usually be from close range, one touch - nothing spectacular. He just had that knack of being in the right place to turn the ball in. Strange to think that he was capped as a right-back before Thistle converted him to a striker. Even then, he was nothing spectacular until he signed from Killie from Man City.
