Just to jump in, glad to see everyone had a positive experience of Killie TV yesterday. I assumed the “floor manager” role for us yesterday and thanks to posts on here coupled with me streaming the match on my phone whilst sat next to the commentators in the Frank Beattie stand, we were able to act quickly with Stream Digital to ensure the audio sync issues were dealt with promptly. We were very keen to avoid issues that other clubs endured on Saturday so we made plans to get on top of it quickly. Keep the feedback coming, trust me, it helps us a lot! It’s odd that McKenzie has played over 200 games for us, under god knows how many managers and is obviously trusted to do a job, yet it’s apparently ok to slate him as the weak link every week, but you can’t say the new guy didn’t make the most of the space he was given. You’d think we were the first team ever to play a player not on his ‘natural’ side. All this talk of “unbalanced” and seeing cutting inside as a flaw is dated horses**t too. With Killie fans, familiarity really does breed contempt.

It took a penalty to beat Motherwell at home and a goalie nightmare to beat Hamilton by single goals. Aye they've won their first 2 games but I wouldn't say they're flying. No reason we can't go there and collect 3 points

Just seen on Twitter that yesterday was the 8th time we've come from behind to take at least a point against the old firm under Clarke/Dyer. We've taken points off them on 13 occasions since October 2017. That is some record.

We talk about the great Killie players in the recent past, Tommy Burns, Eremenko, Ian Durrant, for me Chris Burke is up there with one of the best players to pull on a Killie jersey in the last 20 years. We should enjoy watching him play if this is going to be his last season. What a player and role model for youngsters on and off the pitch. I can't help thinking in 10 years time we are going to be saying do you remember when Burkey was playing. Club legend.

Totally frightening listening to killie fans. 3 times he burst a guy to intercept celtics counter attack. Once with a header he won, which he then had to go and try to win the 2nd header, and twice on the floor he burst back. Nobody will argue rory McKenzie is the most technically gifted, but he is a talented footballer that is certainly good enough for kilmarnock.

Or maybe because he is a total professional, a real role model to other players, helps develop younger players on the pitch every week with his extensive experience and is doing his coaching qualifications

Gary dicker strolled that today, for all those that say he’s finished or no good enough, guys different school calm under pressure and can use the ball to get us out and on the front foot

Strange that we always look a better team (and Power looks a better player) when Dicker is in the team. Almost like it's not a coincidence.

We sold 11500 for that game. By far and away the best atmosphere (from word go) out of any of the 4 finals I've attended. Fans were bang up for it and being devoid of day triippers on the whole was a blessing.

Tic were poor because we didn’t let them play and we gave them very little space. If a team is well organised and everyone does their jobs it’s hard to break them down. Was surprised though that they didn’t go for Plan B in the last 10 mins and just get the ball into the box and hope for a mistake or a break of the ball. They continued to probe for an opening and we’re blocked off time and time again.

You do feel if we had Bachman we would not have lost the first one against hibs or that goal today. Early days but that is 2 clangers in 2 games from 2 different keepers.

Memories

We endured years under JJ where any game against them was a write off before a ball was kicked. We got some results under Calderwood and then Mixu but it was Shiels who really started to establish a sense we should fear no one.

When he was with us he wanted 5K a week to sign permanently. Financial suicide if we signed him on that back in the day a couple of years ago. Personally I think the club can confidently move on and hopefully find someone else.

The last 10mins on Sky was as biased as Celtic TV .... they were absolutely gagging for a Celtic goal. Celtic have scored so many late winners here over the years... Scott Brown has been subbed so he can't repeat his goal of 2 seasons ago in the last minute... constant shlte like that was nauseous.

That level of performance by our team also set a benchmark for others in the squad to reach , Nearly all of that starting line had experience of playing together and in similar games.......Haunstrup came on and looked composed , now up to our (other) new summer recruits If / when given a chance to show that same performance level of that starting 11 , good to have relative competition for places and in terms of outfield signings a starting place has to be earned . and kept You would hope that in training these new players are eager to impress and ready if given that chance

I thought that apart from not booking him at the penalty he had a good game. I think it is easier for them to referee games as players are trying to con them less and they aren’t being influenced by the crowd.

We should make another approach for Bachman now that Watford have had time to assess the relegation effect.
