  1. One final point from my view.... He did an interview last week and took time to speak very fondly of his time here, both him and his families love for the club and the positive messages he received on the news of his move to Philadelphia, so much so he repeated his hope that he will return to us one day in the future. That sounds to me like someone who has total respect for everyone, from the board down, at Killie and is very happy with how his move was handled by all at RP.

  2. The Anti Dicker rhetoric.... is only there because he is not performing and hasn't been for 18months or more. Imo his legs have gone, his performance at County was one of someone who didn't have a clue how to play or where to play. Its not.about him, its about our clubs survival in the top flight so spare me any hurt feelings. We need to do whatever needs to be done to make sure we stay up. If that means dropping the captain then get him cushion for his seat.

  4. Reading more last night they are turning their backs on the traditional fans. Looking away from the fans who grow with the clubs whose life is intertwined with their football club. The fans who get as excited about Liverpool vs Yeovil in the FA Cup as they do about Liverpool vs Barca in the CL. The clubs are looking at the Yankee, Arab and Asian dollar. The football tourist who don’t care about diddy clubs who only want the big teams. Those twats who go to some of the biggest games in the world and wear a half and half scarf.

  5. Dont think dicker should be in the team at all .we cant have passengers if hes not mobile enough to do his job he shouldnt be playing

  6. I think it's nailed on we are going to Hamilton on the last day needing something. Can see it still being as tight as it now. Any win at this stage is absolutely huge. Think it's now sinking in that the 2-2 vs County is a much, much better result for them. For the first time it's really not in our hands. My gut feeling is we're going to end up in that play off.

  7. I think you’ll find some other reasons if you do your research After regaining his confidence he played a decent number of games for a variety of clubs. without doubt you are wrong on the “dedication “

  8. English football ironically is what brought us and ultimately killed the game. I don't know about you but I despise what the epl had become. I watched match of the 70s as a kid and thought it was brilliant. Effectively what Scottish football is now. You had your muddy pitches, cult heroes and characters and the key point it us not about the money. Man City for example back in the day weren't an all powerful corporate machine but a team of the people. Sky came along and ruined it in the 90s. Although at this point it was still a relatively modest market. Into the 2000s though the game lost its soul down south. The fa Cup is the equivalent of the Irn bru challenge Cup these days. As for this development I'm not that fussed as money has already killed the game. Even if UEFA gets its wish its just the superleague owned by someone else Until they bring in rules to limit player wages, ban sheiks and American investors coming in its already a superleague. Sky and the media constantly plug how great is our league, look at how much money has been spent in this transfer window, how rich are English football. Yet the monsters that they have fed and created have suddenly burst out of the surroundings becayse they can't contain them anymore. No sympathy at all. All being well both the epl, UEFA and the superleague would implode and they would need to build again with the valued that we had decades ago.

  9. All we have to do is win. Win all four games as an overdue apology from this squad for their all too often pathetic performances this season and we will be fine! The rest is speculation that takes us nowhere.

  10. We blew a massive chance against RC and have handed the initiative over to them in the respect that they have only to match or better what we do in our games we are well and truly snookered.

  11. The 3 teams at the bottom are there because they have not been good or consistent enough. That means results are impossible to predict it may well come down to the attitude of the other teams which is more of a worry.

  12. Think it would have been more of a distraction had we lost to Montrose.

  13. If county win and we lose I think realistically that's us done for finishing 10th. 4 points behind with 9 to play for is a big ask. Really tough for the chasing teams at this time of the season

  14. It has worked well all season.

  15. Resting them for the cup game against us probably. And the only reason it's a worry is because we are now relying on other teams. Our destiny was in our hands and we f**ked it. Nobody to blame but ourselves.

  16. The biggest hypocrites in all this are UEFA who have spent years building close to a closed shop in the Champions League and allowing non-champions (and now historically big clubs) in. They are just panicking now at the thought of a lot of money walking out the door. Hell mend them all.

  17. He can only work with what he has, thanks to the board. Dyer seemed to take pride in the fact that teams didn’t turn us over but that overlooked that we weren’t scoring goals. We are now scoring goals at least so we still have a chance in matches.

  23. Yeah that's pretty much my thoughts exactly. Coming off the the back of the 4-1 win against Motherwell and going in the the split i felt confident we could do enough to see ourselves safe. But 2 less than impressive performances against RossCo and then Montrose has really got me worried we'll struggle to get out the bottom 2 now. As you say the 2-2 draw is probabley a much better result for County as its 1 less game we now have to catch them and 1 less away game for them to play as well

  24. I don't agree with it but the people and organisations that have rushed to condemn it are hardly the upholders of fairness. FIFA - Sorted out their organisation after years of corruption and bribery. UEFA - Provoked this mess by their stupid co-efficient backdoor route to qualification. EPL - £100m if you win the league, £100m if you avoid relegation. SPFL - Clubs play each other three or four times. One club can block any vote from passing. UK Government- Wallowing in corruption. Prince William - Everyone can be like me.

  25. If we are being realistic in our assessment of where things started to go wrong after SSC left us then the biggest percentage of the blame lies fairly and squarely with the man who owns our club in his decision to appoint the manager he did. Although Dyer is obviously to blame for much of what has happened since the raised status of the club when SC left was a massive missed opportunity to attract a better high profile manager than the one appointed and there must surely have been better options available.

  26. Yeah but Liverpool vs Barcelona will not be staged in Liverpool or Barcelona though will it? So the legacy fans you speak of are irrelevant. These guys will have absolutely no problem filling a stadium in Dubai or Salt Lake city for a game like that. I thinkthe "fans" have over estimated their power and influence here. These boys know they can always pick up a few thousand fans to fill a stadium. It's the TV rights they want their hands on. That's where the money is. As for the players, they also have over estimated their power here. As noted above there will be wage caps comming. These boys dont want to waste ther profits paying for players. It the stars want big money they will have to sign up to the deals these boys are offering because nobody else will have any real money to offer at all.

  27. They were winning trophies 4 years before Newton Heath (Man United), 26 years before Arsenal, 51 years before Chelsea. Won the FA Cup 61 years before Liverpool managed the same feat and the first English club to win a domestic and European trophy in the same season. *That's* the problem with many football fans right here. For some, the game only began in 92 and for others it was the decade or two before that. When the reality is clubs such as Accrington, Burnley, Derby and Stoke were founding members of the football league and they themselves are anything but 'irrelevant.' Anyway, I hope every single one of the clubs involved in this scam crash and burn should they proceed as it looks like they will.

  28. Actually have very little sympathy for UEFA, the Premier league or Rangers or Celtic. Sky made this by putting billions into the Premier league. They then buy the SPFL for a pittance and only show games at a time that doesn't conflict with a West brom wolves for example. It's the equivalent of Rangers signing Greg Stewart to put him on the bench so we can't play him. They don't value Scottish football they just want other channels to have it in case it draws some of their viewers away. Rangers and Celtic also don't care about Scottish football and would be away from the SPFL to the epl at the drop of a hat. No condemation from the media about that one. UEFA are just annoyed because this league will take money away from then, so is the epl and their product is not as lucrative without the big 6. Don't actually mind if it goes ahead

  29. No, he’s just someone else who realises the simple truth that if you lose your better players and replace them with inferior ones as we’ve done consistently for the last two years then it will negatively impact on performances, points and league position. Rogers, Doyle, Dikamona, Medley, Pierrick, Dabo, Whitehall, Dabo, Kabamba, Oakley and my own favourite Harry Bunn to name a few. TW has made one signing and he’s made a bigger contribution than all the dross that’s been brought in over the last 18 months.

  30. Would dissent not be welcome in an Independent Scotland? I notice that gentlest of well informed souls, McLean07, has been harried and chastised into non participation. Is this what we have to expect in an Independent Scotland? I don't think I'm hard of understanding, my views are just different from yours and although I am hard of hearing there really is no need to shout.

  31. We might need to win our next 4 games to avoid ending up bottom if Ross County and Hamilton win all of their games. That is unlikely to happen but it might. Not confident of us winning 4 games given our defensive frailties. If we were solid defensively we’d have a much better chance but we still make stupid errors regardless of who plays.

  35. Utter bollocks. The Scottish government, any Scottish government, should not be forced to pay seven and a half times the value of a hospital, which they will never own, just because they are denied access to normal government borrowing streams. In every single instance where this model has been used it is more expensive for the tax payer and delivers significantly less value for money than traditional borrowing for capital expenditure. Your tribal defence of this scam is laughable.

  36. Can anyone help. Scottish media moaning about this and how it effects the weegies. Are these not the same tw&ts that have said “The North Atlantic League” and its numerous reincarnations since. “ it will be great for Scottish football “ nothing to do with money. What’s the difference? oops forgot only weegies matter.. I may be cynical but could this be the reason that weegie colts into lower league in case their big brothers get invited to the big boys table and then as success eludes them fans leave in their droves as they don’t know how to support a team that can’t lord it over everyone else????

  44. We were never going to get millions for Findlay but the fee we got was a reasonable one as I've already said. Findlay was allegedly linked with Hearts. They would have signed him on a PCA and we'd get nothing. Not a chance of them offering money for him. If we blocked Findlays move , do you think we would have a happy player? Nisbet is only just back starting for Hibs after his request was denied. There's no doubt Medley isn't as good a player as Findlay. But there is more experienced players than him not pulling their weight. Maybe if they did, our defence wouldn't be under so much scrutiny.

  45. Club were in a tough position with Findlay. A good offer came in and they took it. I’m presuming they held Premiership survival against club survival when they made the decision. No guarantee keeping Findlay keeps us in the top flight as he wasn’t having his best season and played a big part in some poor results.

  46. Where was Broadfoot while Medley was being bullied? Supposed to be a leader and a master of the dark arts. More like a world class hide n seek player. Btw Findlay’s performances have been nothing to write home about this season either. He sold the jerseys on more than one occasion. In fact only one manager has ever been able to get a consistent level of performance from him.
