Of course not. The evidence that the vaccine is safe and efficacious is overwhelming. But you claim to know people who've had life changing side effects. I suspect the evidence doesn't exist beyond anecdote. I've had enough of people like you who think their uninformed opinions are equally as valid as the evidence based, peer reviewed findings agreed on by 99% of the worldwide scientific community. That's what gave us Boris and Brexit.6 points

Had a feeling we were heading in this direction. The vaccine could make you more ill than the virus? How many folk are in hospital because of the jag, how many have died of AstraZeneca poisoning? When you're ill, do you go to your doctor or some guy on the internet? Honestly mate, log off of Facebook and go talk to your GP if you have concerns. Who do you trust more?6 points

Loved his short spell with us, but 2 years bench warming with the odd cameo thrown in at Sevco won't have done his fitness any good. Anyways resigning players from the Steve Clarke era hasn't worked . It's time to move on.5 points

It’s unlikely to happen but yes. He was a pawn in a game involving Birmingham, Aberdeen, his agent (and others?). Iirc we matched Aberdeen’s financial offer yet he was always going to leave. I don’t get the the idea that he was culpable. He’s not the brightest and would have gone where he was told.5 points

The board got us relegated. Giving the job to Dyer when he was a failure as caretaker and not moving him out cos he won a game every couple of months, got us relegated. Not giving the new manager a transfer window got us relegated. The players were poor but January replacements could have saved us if the manager had a clue.5 points

It was obviously a flippant comment on your username. But we are all organic beings that get attacked by viruses. Loads of vaccines have been developed over the years to combat these viruses, and in some cases, wipe them out completely. Vaccines have historically kept us safe. This virus is a particularly virulent killer, millions have died, right? And millions more are suffering long term, so-called 'long Covid' breathing and other difficulties. So they've came up with vaccines to try and combat the killer virus. Why on earth would any vaccine be more harmful than the virus? And millions upon millions of folk have taken these vaccines, with very relative miniscule amount of folk having any sort of issue afterwards. To protect us all, we need most folk to take a vaccine, so that we can get on the road to ridding ourselves of the virus. But of course folk have fears and concerns of anything new, that's fair enough. But that's where conspiracy theories come in. Most folk will look at evidence and ask experts for advice before taking any action. But others are so scared, they'll look for any sort of 'evidence' to confirm their fears, whatever the source. That's where conspiracy theorists get their oxygen, they do it because they can. Vaccines don't run over 5G and cannot enable you with Bluetooth. And Bill Gates is not sitting with a PS5 controller making you put your cornflakes in the fridge for giggles. The evidence is overwhelming, millions of folk have had a vaccine and millions more will get it. It's safe and effective, so why wouldn't you get it to provide protection for yourself and your loved ones?4 points

Also some of our players were insufficiently mobile to get off their knee at the start of the game so just stayed there for the 90 mins and the whole team was on its knees by the time of the play-offs4 points

How many cans of worms can you open with one post?! Impressive! I think Brandon Haunstrup has suffered because he came into a weak team, and had all manner of difficulties around him. He's had chop-change central defensive players inside him, including one who was an ageing, slow liability. The defensive midfielder you might have expected to fill in when Brandon gets forward was so immobile he was left exposed regularly. And in front of him there was no consistent partners, nor anyone who worked back to cover him. So overall I think he's a good player with a lot of potential, and very much hope we give him the time to properly bed in and make the role his own. As for taking the knee, it appears to upset all the right people, so I'm right behind it. Yes, it is a gesture, but it's an important gesture because it gives the target of racism the message that they are being heard and are not alone. It's also not really for others to dictate to the victims of racism how they're allowed to protest. For what it's worth the letter Gareth Southgate published today was genuinely excellent and it pains me to say he's a credit to his nation and team. Scotland expectations - we're going to win it! Can't wait!4 points

That’s just hysterical. Haunstrup wasn’t great last season but I’ve seen much worse in a Killie shirt over the years.4 points

https://www.killiefc.com/forum/index.php?/forum/3-youll-never-take-the-killie/ This is our football board for any other team except the mighty Ayrshire Killie. If you want to talk about your s**tey wee English second team our have a laugh at the misfortunes of our country bumpkin neighbours south of Symington then this is the place to do it. Incorporating the "Killie's Tartan Army" sub-forum for our international troops.3 points

So far, total vaccine doses given in Scotland is at 5.69M, with 2.28M people gladly fully vaccinated with 2 jags. My 21yo daughter, her boyfriend and loads of her pals have willingly sought out their first jag at drop-in events. They want to be safe and keep those around them safe too. I don't think any of us want to be 'socially distant mask wearers' for any longer than is necessary. What's the big problem here?3 points

I myself personally think taking a knee has become a bit on a meaningless gesture but booing during it realy is quite distasteful. Like people who cant keep their mouths shut during a minute's silence at the start of a gane.3 points

No ( and I don't think we'd have the opportunity anyway) As with the vast majority of players in the Clarke era he made them way better than they actually were. Stewart is a good player, would he excel in this side? probbaly not, see Aberdeen for recent comparisons. Again time to move on, new players with no baggage3 points

Yes it is, we got relegated because the board haven’t made a correct decision since the day Steve Clarke walked out the building and I don’t see that changing until a proper structure to run the club is put in place3 points

If I remember correctly from one of your many, many Killiefc.com business direction seminars Kilmarnock FC should be scouting the lower leagues to unearth the gems at such a level. Dunfermline and Raith finished both finished in the playoff places. We've signed Dunfermline's captain. We've signed one of Raith's best and most promising attacking players. Yet we're a laughing stock for signing a bunch of nobodies now? Now you want to take a stand because exactly what you were shouting for repeatedly is happening and yet you want Gary Dicker and Kirk Broadfoot back. You wonder why people are constantly at odds with you?3 points

As if! ? I think I'll stick with the experts who have developed and given out the multi-millions of doses of vaccine, the light at the end of the tunnel ...you stick with your socially distanced mask wearing if you like. Where do you get your info about vaccine scepticism and "big pharma" anyway? Could you post some links?2 points

That's good to hear. Wouldn't be fair if our disabled supporters were discriminated against more than other supporters and indeed more than they already are.2 points

Personally I wouldn't be trusting anybody else beside me with my health. How far do you think "social distancing" will get when fans become quite 'enthusiastic' shall we say? Especially if the team is doing well, we can guess that social distancing rules will go out the window very quickly. The vaccine is the light at the end of the tunnel everyone has been living through.2 points

Why is this even a question. The answer is yes. You’d need to be a special kind of stupid to not want someone of his quality.2 points

I keep seeing the 'two vaccines' being used as possible entry to things, I've had my first but i've nothing to indicate/show that, other than I presume it's on an NHS database? An entry app where you could upload a neg. test or show you'd had both vaccines is the way forward, but I presume that as we don't have it now we won't be developing it nationwide anytime soon!2 points

We preferred to boo during the 90 minutes last year, rather than at the start of the match2 points

Well, it's in, and the car's had a 3.5 hour drink. Bit on the optimistic side with 41 miles, right enough. Looking forward to my first heart attack, when the leccy bill arrives.2 points

Two Covid vaccines or a negative test result should be enough for entry to RP, to prove a low risk of transmission between fans.2 points

The constant reflection on the shambles that was the last two years bores me to tears. Board, management, players have all been an embarrassment and now fans are already lining up the excuses for why we won’t win the championship.2 points

I saw this the other day, its just a concept done by someone for Southampton. Shows the possibilities for a 'retro upgrade'.... would love a Killie version2 points

Naw, it really shouldn't. They had both Hearts and Hibs who had come down from the Premiership to contend with. This literally could not be more different. We're in a position where we're actually going to be against Championship level sides every week. If we blow it then we've made a mess of a season where there's no excuses in terms of opposition.2 points

It's natural to have concerns about things like this. However, you being unsure about something isn't an excuse to not help yourself and the rest of society. Before getting on a plane, can you explain the physics of flight, or know precisely how the different on-board systems work to keep you safe during take-off, flight and landing? I don't know either, and there is so much information in the world that no one person is able to know every single detail about the whole thing. So I put my trust in others to know what they're doing. My neighbour is a biochemist working on the AZ vaccine. He focuses on one particular component of that vaccine, which does one particular job, as that's his area of expertise. He doesn't have the expertise to work on the other parts, there are other experts for that. And so these experts who have researched these tiny, narrow fields for years work together, each trusting in the work of others. As for your last point, the more unvaccinated people there are means more chance of mutations creating more aggressive variants which we don't have an effective vaccine for. So your choice could potentially ruin everything for everyone. In a country where vaccines are easily available, choosing not to is the height of selfishness.2 points
