  1. Wasn’t as energetic as I thought he would be, but clearly a really composed big guy. Done well.
  2. Del got it spot on yet again. Special shout out to Donnelly, and Fraser Murray - he’s been really good the last few appearances. We have a bloody great squad now.
  3. You’re not a killie fan. Just look for a reaction all the time. Weird guy.
  4. To a man, absolutely different class.
  5. Wrong time to take Armstrong off imo. He was finally starting to get some joy.
  6. Armstrong has been rubbish today.
  7. Would like to see Vass off at half time for KVV, and Donnelly off for Balagizi. Feel for Donnelly because he’s done well, but booking is killing him.
  8. Better off just ignoring them. Clearly watching a different game.
  9. Disappointed in Wright. Had a really good game so far, but one moment of switching off has cost us.
  10. Need Donnelly off at half time. He’s done well, but can’t have one of our two centre mids on a booking for a full half.
  11. It’s a good job you’re never actually correct with any these pre-match predictions/digs.
  12. Midfield is giving me the fear. Would have liked to have seen McKenzie playing for a bit of energy in there.
  13. I’m not arguing against wanting him to return because obviously I do, but you can’t say it’s ‘no major injury’. As I’ve said, he’s missed a ridiculously high number of weeks every single season that he’s played - it can’t just be a case that he’s been rushed back every time. I hope I’m wrong, but can’t see it.
  14. It’s not really for no good reason though, is it? He’s missed at least 100 days, often upto and more than a full year, through injury every single season he’s played bar one. No one is retiring him - that will be his decision. However, it might be worth him considering what’s best for himself, and for his health, in the near future and then making a decision. It isn’t fair to keep pushing your body to extremes it can’t handle, and I’d hate for him to be absolutely crippled by the time he’s 30, just so we can see him play for a season.
  15. https://kilmarnockfc.co.uk/news/injury-update-ahead-of-celtic-a/ Good news and bad news. I’m not saying I want this to happen, obviously, but can really see Magennis chucking it in a year or so. I can’t see any possible way that he can continue to play top level football when his body continues to break down. Missing this amount of games, season after season, just is not sustainable. It’s a crying shame because he is an outstanding talent. I really, really feel for him.
  16. Thought Ndaba was quite sloppy. Improved 2nd half though.
  17. Apart from the opening part of the game, I thought we were totally comfortable. Really professional performance, and I thought for the second game in a row, the subs improved us. Individually, I thought Murray, McKenzie and Kennedy were all really good. I thought Mayo and Watson were pretty poor though, think Watson needs a spell out the team because he isn’t really offering anything atm - looks done in. Thought Balagizi looked tidy and got up and down well, so would like to see him in for a few weeks. Onto the quarters!
  18. I’m the same. I reckon we will be trailing for a bit, then do the business in the split
  19. This for me, but with McKenzie for Donnelly, and potentially Murray/GMS for Armstrong.
  20. Spot on. There were folk on here at half time slating McInnes, saying that there’s no chance he would change it - then, when he did, it was because of the fans? Don’t buy it either I’m afraid Theres been plenty of criticism directed DM’s way about his lack of subs, and how he doesn’t change it when fans want to, so why would yesterday be any different all of a sudden?
  21. This is spot on for me. I think Watson is brilliant, but his game intelligence is quite poor at times, but that obviously will come with age.
  22. The ‘I paid my money so can do what I like’ argument is one of my most hated things in football. Aye, you paid to be there, but that doesn’t entitle folk to act like entitled, spoiled brats after one bad half of football. Surely anyone with a bit of sense can view it outwith the 45 minute context, and think about the bigger picture? Apparently not though.
  23. Except from tonight, and several other times when he’s played and been absolutely fine. The difference is, the minute he makes one mistake, folk like you pounce on him and claim he’s the worst player we have ever had. I’ve criticised him before, but some folk are so blinded by their set in stone opinions, that they don’t even want him to come good. It’s embarrassing.
