  1. That was f**kin horrific. If Andy Millen thinks our under 19’s are empty jerseys I want to know what he thinks is better, because that is miles away from acceptable. At least the youth players would show heart and care. f**kin disgusted.
  2. With your inferior knowledge how did they get on when they played an experienced hairy arsed Bonnyton team on Saturday? I know it’s not the same league but by all accounts there adult males who should be somewhat inferior? Guess what. Go into a game expecting to get beat you’ll get beat. Go into a game having already lost it 3-0 then what is there to loose? Let them go enjoy it. If they loose 4-0 it cost us a goal but some kids got an experience.
  3. Page 4 and I can’t believe no one has mentioned the one and only Mike Jeffrey.
  4. Oh here comes the boat full of positivity. What exactly is your experience of the 17’s & 18’s? Given the 18’s made the youth cup final and the 17’s hadn’t lost a game since September last year. Many games did you watch?
  5. Let’s be honest they go into the game under no pressure. They have saved us from handing over a 3-0 defeat. All the pressure would go onto Falkirk who could slip up against at team of 16,17,18 year olds which could be slightly embarrassing and let’s be honest it’s possible.
  6. I don’t see why we wouldn’t play our boys against Falkirk. We have some of the best talent in Scotland and it’s an opportunity to show off all the hard work the academy do. I know for a fact there is boys who would run through a brick wall for the club. No way should we fear playing Falkirk or Dunfermline with them. We need to have faith and support them.
  7. I can’t believe Mike Jeffrey hasn’t made it onto any of these lists. Best or most surprisingly the worst. #jeffrey4
  8. This would be farcical. Celtic win the league but Dundee Utd don’t?
  9. Killie 17’s beat Airdrie 6-1 at rugby park tonight. Some very very tidy players for killie.
  10. They were only here until the end of the calendar year so not necessarily the choice of AD, we would have had the option of extending, but sorry these boys aren’t good enough and have been taking up seats on a bench that could have been filled with academy players who would at least give you 100% effort!
  11. Got to be the best kept secret in Scottish football at the moment. The 3 names top of the sky betting, I’d be delighted with any of them. The fact that we are linked with such high profile coaches is a credit to the board. Do you think we’d get enough people to attend rugby park to do an official unveiling? I’d be well up for it.
  12. I don’t want to either but ultimately the money needs to come from somewhere. I think football needs to be cheaper. So do you flip it on its head and make them £10/£15 and hope more people come along and fill our stands. Problem is if people don’t.
  13. No need to make 1 up. We have our own. But actually we do – or at least, most of us do know the widely accepted explanation. Paper Roses was adopted by a group of supporters travelling on a bus to an away game at a time when violence and bad behaviour was beginning to dog Scottish football. Some fans decided they wanted no part in the ratcheting up of rivalries and wanted to make a statement to that effect. What they could not decide on was how. Then, Marie Osmond came on the radio singing Paper Roses and the fans decided that was it. Here was a harmless, guileless song with a rather twee tune. It was perfect. So every time, vitriol and hatred were chanted in their direction in an attempt to force a response, the reply came by way of a chorus or two of Paper Roses. It took the sting out of things and made those who sought violence look rather stupid. Killie fans in the vanguard of designing innovative approaches to reducing violence in our society – who’d a thunk it? And the song stuck.
  14. So serious question then? Would we be prepared to pay an extra £50/£60/£70 on your season ticket to make up for the loss in the revenue, that giving them an extra stand brings. Pay at the gate we May now need to pay £30/32 as apposed to £27? We need the money and it’s got to come from somewhere?
  15. Take nothing away from hibs they are a decent side, Lennon has them very well organised. I thought we we matched them in every department, if SC can have us that organised that determined in less than 3 weeks just wait to you see how well we will be playing in 3 months. On another night Boyd would have had a hat trick, looked a handful and put a good shift in. We need to get Power in the game more, need him on the ball as he has an eye for a pass, I have high hopes for the guy. Wee frizz was great when he came on, a real handful and very positive. All in all a very good performance thought the support was excellent also, well done everyone. Still more people to turn up though.
  16. I know I am I am sure I am I am killie til I die!!!
  17. I have high hopes for today. Let’s be honest no one can critise this team as this is the one we all wanted....
  18. Yet another example of how bad referees are! Although it was a great way to finish.
  19. Before I go to work I need to know if the ball came out the box or not!!!
  20. That was great! I thought we battled hard and had a clear game plan! Tactics were spot on. Was it a pen though? I need to see it again. But broadfoot made up for it, in jacks face winding him up and he bit!!! We looked sharp and aggressive at times in that game, the last 10mins they struggled to get out there half! Power had a great game, looking forward to seeing him and dicker in there! Also it wasn’t a back pass, it came off the strikers foot that’s why McDonald picked it up!
