I'd have started Shaw over Doidge. Unless Shaw is carrying an injury, surely he now feels he has something to prove?

Shaw has had his chances galore and done little or nothing to show he is worth wasting time with. Fully expect him out the door at the earliest opportunity.

See if the Mrs tells you you’ve got the biggest budget ever to go shopping with… but you’ve got to pay Peter, Paul, Alan and Brian before you go. You’re biggest budget for M&S steak is going to get you basic mince out of Aldi.

    Put this into football terms

So why is Mcinnes trying to make a chicken salad with Aldi mince?

Is he some sort of miracle worker?

The club got relegated through owners / previously appointed managers failings.

McInnes first job was to get us promoted and he achieved that.

You've written him off after one transfer window.

Relegation did happen, it will take time to build up again, one Summer won't magically fix the consequences of that.

I am sorry but that is bs. The players we have are better than the performances we are seeing.

Each player on the park today has had games where they were lauded as the "best player at the club".

The problem is we don't have a management team getting the best from them. Poor training, poor setup, poor substitutions, poor tactics eyc etc.

Steve Clarke showed what difference a proper management team can make. Proper training, proper setup, savvy substitutions, sublime tactics etc etc.

Even if McInnes gets in all the players he wants I have seen nothing to show he can use them properly.

I hope I am wrong as I hold no malice for him and would love him to be a success here as that would mean a successful Killie.

Don't think we have the worst squad in the League when everyone is fit...however, clearly need to be picking up some points in away games soon. More of a must not lose on Wednesday night.

When we matched up Utd's 3-5-2 at home in the LC it worked well. I would go with...

    --------------------------------Hemming------------------------------------

    ------------Mayo--------------Taylor------------Wright-----------------------

    --Alebiosu------------------Power---McInroy-------------------Armstrong---

    --------------------------------Polworth----------------------------------------

    ----------------------------Shaw--------Cameron------------------------------

I know Shaw is a controversial one, but Cameron needs someone next to him. Strongest 3 in the middle, still think is Power-McInroy and Polworth. Armstrong has to be in a wide area.

Despite the paucity of goals from Shaw and Cameron I think you are right that we need two up front

It doesn’t matter who he brings in tho if he’s going to ballon the ball up the park. No player watching that are thinking oh aye I fancy going to play under mciness with that tactic

This posts highlights exactly the issue.

No matter which players we have or bring in of the manager has no real plan as to how to play then it will not matter a jot.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what is done during the week in training
