  1. After today’s win we only need to beat Arbroath at home to win the title. We are 4 ahead so add the 3 points if we beat them = 7. Arbroath could only get maximum of 6 points from the 3 games left. That said, I’d rather we win then all!
  2. Don’t think we strung together 5 passes for the whole game and this long ball punt up front is dire to watch. Utter garbage again and how we are top of this league is beyond me…hard watch most weeks these days.
  3. Worst Kilmarnock team I’ve watched in over 40 years. Can’t string more than a handful of passes together and constantly lunching the ball in the air. Something needs to change and quickly…
  4. Colchester United re-sign Freddie Sears & name Alex Dyer as assistant manager Colchester United have re-signed striker Freddie Sears from Ipswich on a two-year deal and named ex-Kilmarnock boss Alex Dyer as assistant manager. Sears, 31, initially joined the U's on loan in 2012 and went on to score 36 goals in three years with the club. "The moment it was announced I was leaving Ipswich, Hayden [Mullins, Colchester manager] was onto me and we got it done really quickly," he said. "This is where I made my name and I feel I owe the club something." Dyer's 13-month reign in charge of Killie ended in January and he has also worked as an assistant with the Scotland national team, Huddersfield and Charlton. The 55-year-old played as a defender for the likes of Notts County, Oxford United, Hull and Blackpool. "I spoke to Hayden when I left Kilmarnock and he asked me if I wanted to get straight back into the game and I said yes. Obviously nothing was available then but Hayden then got the job and here I am," Dyer told BBC Essex. "We know each other from West Ham years ago and speak a lot on the phone." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57485252
  5. This whole shambles stems from appointing Dyer as manager in the first place and not changing things when we could all see it wasn’t working. Wright can only work with the poor squad he took over. The change was made far too late and fear the worst…

  7. I’ve been following Killie since I was a boy in the 70’s and journied through some real highs and lows. I used to run your official website for many years through the times of the Scottish Cup win and Bobby Williamson era. The good feelings come from you guys and if you believe then the players will know it. I’ve been pretty silent in here for years, as demoralised as most of you in that time. Kenny Shiels comes along, puts some belief into the place with his positivity and charisma and you begin to believe...League Cup win over Celtic the result! The appointment of Steve Clarke is massive. He has worked with the very best in this country, Jose Mourinho, Kenny Dalglish etc. This guy is a massive cou for our club and his coaching ability is without question. I sense the real positivity amongst you guys and we need to continue to get behind the team. Lee McCulloch was a great guy and has made some good signings that are starting to bear fruit under an experienced manager and coach. I’m sure there will be a couple of quality additions come January from Clarke and his contacts south of the border. Believe and follow, get your arses back to RP, encourage your pals, and who knows where our support can take us. C’mon the Killie!!

  10. Very good source tells me Steve Clarke will be announced as the new manager today
  11. Maybe wrong but with McCulloch heading off on holiday without signing on the dotted line that he will take the job with some certainty about funding for new recruits. With MJ departure there's maybe some investment on the horizon from Chris McMail and others that would convince him to stay and develop the club with some decent signings. Income from crowds of less than 4000 in the SPL will get you young loan signings from all over and next year will be no better than the past few.
