We have begun the season well and really had a better window overall. But If it transpires we don’t sign someone who we knew in June we needed, we have held majority of budget back for and end up with a panic loan or free agent it’s poor from club. Watkins has done well but is a support striker, Cameron and Wales aren’t at this level and Vassell is never fit. A giant couple of hours. Difference between a potentially good season and a meh season. January is too late. There must be a very decent wage available for a main man.

So Fifty year lease was never actually mentioned. I doubt anyone would sign up for that length of lease on any facility that they were only training on. Some football clubs may have 100 year leases on their stadium or ground the clubs play from. To be fair to Bowie he has been ambitious and if he is taking the risk from his own personal money to build it then rightfully the club should contribute a certain fee to use it. Especially if it can be a sway to get players to come and sign which I imagine it would be.

Worrying Vassell being so far away from featuring. Makes the captaincy a strange choice. Hopefully we can bring in a starting striker soon.

As much as he is captain I am concerned by the fact he clearly struggles to stay fit. Need a striker who will start and be on most wages

Need to keep this up, inevitably they will ring changes, need to keep it tight and make sure we pose a threat.

Mcinroy at 22 is 5th Youngest in our squad. Watson Wales Warnock and Davies the only others who are younger.

Think Warnock is capable of contributing in the squad from the bench he has a low centre of gravity and a real clever footballing brain. I think it would be a mistake to not get him involved more. Wales is still raw but has good potential and could probably benefit from a loan. 25 Goals in Reserves last year is some feat. Warnock has done his time at Forfar and Edinburgh City and if he is to go on loan again I fear he will be forgotten about and contract expires. Technically one of our better footballers.

Would be mental to do that for Dennis he was at Slough last season

Why Warnock never features is wild. Wales has had a taste but Warnock has quality but not “size” but Kennedy and the likes are hardly giants

Aye in June 2021 I’d not have been happy with that starting two. Polworth got loaned out and relegated in our team who scraped by in championship. Lyons couldn’t oust Alston or Mcginn. He only really came in last 4 games of last season or surely he was out on his backside. Now he’s the bloody captain for last 6 games

Sam Walker ,Chris Stokes, Dylan McGowan and Blair Alston. We have retained Murray, Lyons, Armstrong, Polworth, Cameron, Sanders, McKenzie. Who Wright gave deals too.

This record budget Phylis talked about must be gathering some interest in our coffers. Injury prone signing gambles are fine but you can’t keep signing all your players who are partial to extended periods out. Watkins, Magennis, Donnelly, Wright, Vassell all have pretty poor injury records. Still need two quality signings for me. We are too industrial in middle of park and have no bite upfront. No recognised right back at club worried me because Mayo is a centre half not a full back. If we go first four games of season with Cameron and Watkins upfront I doubt they will get one goal between them.

Him and Lyons sitting in midfield is a championship midfield. Would rather Power back over Donnelly. Or Mcinroy who is off to Partick likely. Depressing as f**k, surely we can find a better number 6
